"Wow! What an amazing experience from start to finish! Everyone from FSS showed up when they said they would, were very knowledgeable, and communicated everything very carefully and honestly. There was no discrepancy between what the estimator (Ryan) promised and what the leveling crew (David, Christian, and Blake) said they could do (and what they did) to re-level my concrete pad. I’m very happy with the results and the entire experience. After dealing with other companies and various contractors for many years, this was a refreshing experience! Highly recommend!"

"Ivan and his crew were very professional. The house was leveled, the doors were square again and the wall cracks were nearly completely closed. They cleaned up the site very well. The concrete patch work is OK, but not great, it could have been better. Overall, I am very satisfied."

"<p>Chris's crew showed up as scheduled on 2 occasions and were courteous, easy to work with,  very quick and efficient.</p> <p>Chris is good at working with clients to find a workable solution to problems.   I had a small detail on finishing that he did not follow up on, but I was able to fix the issue myself in 15 minutes for about $4, so this was very minor.  Overall, we are very pleased with the work and the price.</p> <p>I would definitely recommend him for the type of work he did for me.  He will be my first call for any type of concrete or stone work in the future.</p> <p><br></p>"

"Just realized I never wrote a review for this work done in July 2015. Mark did an AWESOME job and 20 months later it still looks brand new. He did an especially good job with the "flakes", it looks really good (sadly, its the nicest floor in the house, lol). Since the floor went in I've had a number of other contractors in the house and they all compliment the floor. Even the ones who do epoxy floors themselves say its one of the best they've seen."

"Everyone at Green Paradise was very helpful and professional. Their pricing is very reasonable and they do great work. A careless Amazon delivery driver destroyed my masonry mailbox. But Green Paradise re-built it for me and it looks even better than the original. Their crew completed the work in one day and even stopped by the next day to make sure it still looked good. I would definitely recommend them and would gladly hire them again."

"It's funny... we've been considering a foundation repair company for our current house, and my wife mentioned Integrated Foundation Solutions, which then rang a bell. The experience to follow happened years ago, and we never posted a review to reflect the lousy service from IFS. Truthfully, I think we were too hacked off by the whole experience to focus, at the time. But, after finding all the old emails today, with all the salient details intact, I thought I'd rectify that mistake. (Quoted verbiage to follow is verbatim from emails.) Short version: Before the sale of our previous house, we brought out IFS to level our foundation. Schaun (owner) and Diane (coordinator) sent out a crew headed up by Arlen... during the foundation leveling, one of Arlen's crew kicked loose a plumbing pipe, which then proceeded to soak a portion of the carpet and baseboard in the nearest room. No one on the crew told us, perhaps no one noticed. (Arlen even went so far as to say that there was "not a doubt in his mind" that one of his guys had kicked the pipe connection loose. Further, Arlen mentioned that it was the third occasion one of his team members had caused damage on the job, in the few weeks previous.) After we brought out a plumber for repairs, IFS said that "flooring folks" had been contacted re: examining and repairing the damage caused during the foundation work done by IFS. Later, "flooring folks" became Chris, the boyfriend of Diane, the job coordinator. Chris then proceeded to do a sketchy job repairing the baseboard -- painting it while it was still swollen from the leak, thus causing the color to not match at all, despite him being "in the flooring business for many years" -- so then he had to come out again, and was clearly not thrilled to do so. Schaun would also "not authorize using a carpet cleaning company" to clean the carpet, as a result of his team's screw-up, but they had "already rented a Rug Doctor type machine". Aside from costing us time, this was incredibly frustrating, though I remained pleasant and genial over all email exchanges. We only wanted our house back like it was, before IFS caused some damage. Remember, we were in the process of selling the house and there was a contract pending. Clearly, IFS was attempting to be as cost-efficient as possible, for their own bottom line, though when I recapped the situation, the response I received from Schaun was very defensive. His explanation of "I guess if I had charged as much as the other company wanted, this would be a no-brainer and I'd have everything fixed perfectly" really sums up the entire experience, in that he not only reacted defensively to repeated mistakes MADE BY HIS COMPANY, but admitted that they had not fixed everything perfectly. He also said that in regards to repairing the damage caused by his people, "since this was not a regular profit situation, it is only fair that I utilize people that will save me money to make repairs". Which is sort of funny, in that he is again framing the mistakes & damages made by his company as a "situation" by which HE should be treated fairly, rather than the homeowners on the receiving end. Finally, Schaun ended with a suggestion that we be "realistic" in our expectations... "Remember, we've been on top of this from beginning to end so far... you've had everything done immediately and without a word from us". Well, bully for you, Schaun... your people caused damaged that required multiple repairs, and you didn't even complain about our more than reasonable request for that damage to be repaired. Well done! There's every possibility that IFS has matured and is now a dandy company. Perhaps all these secondary and tertiary employees have moved on. But as we bring out foundation companies to look at our current house, we will absolutely not consider IFS. Never again. Because the owner then is apparently still the owner, today. YMMV."

"I have been looking for a company to do some mudjacking work on my driveway and came across Foundation Dynamics in a review here on Angie's List. I contacted them to get an estimate and made an appointment for Kyle to come out to my home. Kyle spent about 30-45 minutes taking measurements and provided me with an overview of the process, how long it would take to do the work and a cost breakdown. To schedule the work, half of the total amount was requested up-front and the other half would be paid upon completion of the work. <br /> The day the work was to be done, the two-man crew showed up on-time and asked me to take them to the area that needed to be repaired. Zach, the crew leader, mentioned that it would take 30-40 minutes to get everything set up before the could begin the concrete lifting process. Zach let me know once they were ready to get started and I saw how the process worked, a few small holes are drilled in the concrete and a polyurethane compound is injected into the holes, which fills any voids under the concrete and then expands, which lifts the concrete. The work on my driveway was completed in about 4-5 hours. <br /> Once the work was complete and the crew left (I had signed off on the work already), I noticed there were two drill holes that hadn't been filled. I contacted Zach and he had a team sent out the next day to fill the remaining holes. I also noticed that the concrete walkway next to my backyard gate had lifted a bit as well, preventing the gate from opening outward. Zach came out the next day to resolve the fence issue and everything looks and works great! <br /> I no longer have to worry about scraping the bottom of my car coming in and out of my garage as the driveway level is back to what it was when my house was first built. <br /> I would highly recommend Foundation Dynamics for any concrete leveling/mudjacking work you may need. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Sherman, TX

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
