"The guy who came by and performed the inspection and quote was very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately with their termite service, if termite damage occurs while you have their service, they do not cover the cost to repair damages. The worst part was about a week later I got a call from a woman from their office asking about their quote and if we wanted to move forward with their service. I told her we wouldn’t be because they don’t cover termite damage while under contract with them. She then became a little miffed and told me that no pest control company covers termite damages. She also bragged about them getting all the ex Terminix, Orkin, and Action Pest Control clients because they don’t cover damages, which was a childish point to make. Also, I hate to break it to her but all three of those companies do cover termite damages while you’re under their contract and I have first hand experience with Terminix hiring a general contractor to come out and fix my previous house’s termite damages at no charge. So she is just trying to make other companies look bad. I liked the inspection guy, but I would never do business with this company."

An appointment was set within 48 hours after speaking to the representative (Tommy). He was ten minutes early for an 8am appointment. "Related to a potential home purchase I contacted SM Inspection Services for radon, termite and home inspections.  Pam Lee was the inspector i worked with and she was fantastic!  I had submitted an offer on a home which was on a septic system and she highly encouraged me to have it inspected which her company does not do.  She held off on the home and termite inspection until the septic was inspected and it failed the inspection.  I continued my search for a home and found another home which was on a septic too and Pam was on standby to get in for a home inspection since timing is typically a tight turnaround.  Unfortunately, this home failed the septic inspection as well and I was unable to move forward with the Home and Termite Inspection.  Pam saved me the cost of two home inspections by educating me and encouraging the septic inspections, which was money out of her pocket.  Very honest and trustworthy.
Three times is a charm and I was able to actually find a house and utilize SM Inspection Service.  Pam was punctual and extremely thorough. The inspection took a couple hours. She took time to explain and show me items of significance that were going to be noted on the inspection.  My family attended the inspection and Pam took the time answer several questions they had as well.  Pam had the formal inspection typed up with photos and sent to me within hours.  The seller didn't have the electrical panel accessible so she returned another day to inspect it once it was made accessible. 
A couple major items from the inspection the seller is willing to address.  SM Inspection Services will definitely be used for any subsequent reinspection related to these repairs.  I highly recommend this company and will use them again should the opportunity present itself.

"The owner came out and clearly stated his charges.  He also answered our questions about our problem.  He set several traps and then came out several times to check and move the traps.  Within three weeks he had trapped our mole.  He probably could have gotten it sooner if the weather had not been so dry and driven the mole deeper or to another location.  As soon as it rained, the mole reappeared, which the contrator had predicted.  We were very happy with the work done.  He was punctutal and professional."
