"We're very happy with our newly refinished floors and the job performed by B&D hardwood floors. It is easy for a company to achieve good reviews when they do good work, but more important is how they perform when things go wrong. Because we were having the main portion of our home refinished, including two stairways, we planned a short trip out of town to avoid the worry of walking on newly finished floors. When we returned (on a Sunday), we were disappointed to find several floor issues/items had not been addressed or repaired. I was expecting a difficult discussion come Monday morning, but instead was pleasantly surprised! Gary and his team agreed that there were some problems and explained that the supervisor, with whom I had discussed specifics, had been out sick the past few days. Justin and Josue spent the next 3 days fixing ALL of the problems, applied an extra finish coat on the entire floor, and did a superb job, leaving our house both clean and beautiful! I anticipated there would be some additional costs tacked on to the final bill, but instead it was only $15 over the original estimate (which was more than fair given the “adds” and “subtracts” from the initial work estimate). Bottom line, B&D does fantastic work and provides great customer service. I would definitely recommend and use them again."

"I requested quotes for floor refinishing, and after having read the Reviews for Leininger Hardwood, I consulted my Son and Daughter-in-law~~and we hired them. I had moved to Beavercreek, Ohio December 9th, and stayed with my Family in Beavercreek, until my new Home would be ready to move into. At first, I was undecided as to having the refinishing done, due to the expense, and having been on Disability Income, since 1991, making it difficult to juggle increase in ongoing living expenses. However, my Son encouraged me to have the work done, and also wanted the bedroom floors refinished also. They had been carpeted, and 2 rooms showed wear. Unfortunately, the previous owners had pets, and there were multiple large black stains on the floors of the 3 bedrooms. At first, one workman thought that he could remove the stains with sanding. Patti called us to come and examine the floors, after sanding. The dark stains remained, and she strongly advised that we do not refinish those bedroom floors, and install wall to wall carpeting instead. I was grateful to Patti, and her Husband, Bill, for being honest, in not wanting to take our money for the Bedroom floors, when they felt that the result in finishing would not be satisfactory. We did a walk through after the initial sanding, and were shown 3 different finishes. I picked the 3rd clear coat finish, because we were told that it would be more durable. Three coats were to be applied, and when we finally were allowed to walk on the finished product, we were amazed to see how beautiful the floors were! The clear coats showed all the color changes in grain, and we were so happy with the Refinishing process. Bill and Patti, and their workers were very professional, and personable, in listening to our concerns, and making sure we were making the right decision. "We wanted to finish the lower level of our tri-level, including vinyl flooring in a large laundry room, wide hallway area, and a bathroom; and carpeting in a large family room.  Salesperson Tim got an idea of the level of quality, style and price point we were looking for.  He was able to provide a very large "remnant" of beautiful, quality vinyl flooring at a very, verrrrrry good price.  The installation of that took all day by one man.  He did a wonderful job prepping the floor and and took meticulous care with the installation.  <br /> The price of the medium-high quality carpeting/pad/installation we chose was good, better than two other popular/highly-rated stores we checked out.  I think the price of the carpet/pad was a bit higher than elsewhere, but the installation was less expensive.  Or was it the other way around?  Whatever...overall, it was better than others'.  The two-man installation crew took just a half day to remove a large piece of non-wall-to-wall carpeting we threw down 22 years ago and to install the padding/carpeting.  Plus, they took the old carpet with them! <br /> Everything looks beautiful.  The only hiccup we encountered was that when the carpet installation date rolled around, we weren't told until we called that morning that the carpet hadn't come in.  Had to re-schedule for a week later.  Hence, the "B" rating for punctuality.  Otherwise, they showed up when they said they would. <br /> Overall, we are very pleased and would indeed do business with them again. <br />"
