"The plumber said my backed up pipes were from the septic system needing to be cleaned. Called Max Haas Company and they were able to get someone out the same day. They dug down to the tank top and cleaned the tank. Unfortunately, that didn't solve my plumbing problem but their service was excellent. Would definitely use them again.

"We are on a service agreement with them. We are not the original owners of our home. We purchased the home in October of 2013. In March of that year, the previous owner installed an entirely new HVAC system, about $20,000 worth. There are 2 heat pumps and 2 furnaces. It's a hybrid system, so it will either run on electric or gas, depending on exterior temperatures. RT Moore was the installer. While we were not required to go with them on servicing, they are familiar with the system. They are the installers and it's a Carrier brand. So we are inclined to go forward with them and we are on a service agreement. We've had them since we moved here almost 3 years to the day. 



Our agreement is they do a twice a year inspection and cleaning and everything. In the fall it focuses on the heating. Then we'll have them in May. I haven't scheduled the service yet but usually within a week or so of the call, they'll be here. That one will focus on the cooling.

"To prepare for the work, I had leased a "pod" to place in the drive way to hold everything that was stored in the garage.  I removed pegboard, wall plates, and everything else I could so they could work.   The first day they painted the entire garage, including ceiling, walls, and concrete blocks along the bottom of the walls.  They filled many nail holes and cracks prior to painting.   The second day they shot blasted the concrete floor and filled minor cracks and caulked the seams.   They also did detail work by hand to grind areas the larger blaster could not reach.  I had one major oil stain where my car had been parked, and they got it up completely. 

The next day, they put down the first coat of epoxy.  This is a very smelly ordeal, so be aware if your garage is near a living area.  The coating was allowed to dry for a day, then another coat was applied, with color chips added.  The following day (Thursday) a clear coat with sand to make it less slick was applied.  The floor was allowed to dry until the next Monday. 

Fritz and crew arrived Monday afternoon and began unloading and then assembling the cabinets.  They worked late, and worked most of the next day completing the installation.  There were a few complications, like custom fitting a hanging wall around an existing heater and gas line, and cutting and refitting existing wooden wall trim around the cabinets.

It was extremely warm the days they were working here.  They were all very professional, polite, and did a fantastic job making it all come together.  They cleaned up after themselves and left the place spotless.  I would recommend Fritz highly.   He is very dependable and the quality and workmanship of his product and installation is top notch.  These are not the cheapest cabinets around, they are well built (in America) and look great.  You do get what you pay for.   I will probably add more cabinets and hanging walls for tools as I get adjusted to the new garage.

"Choice Home Warranty presents their company as the best home warranty. The sales pitch I received on the phone multiple times and in my countless e-mails that they sent. The information stated that repairs are done at times on the same day. I did purchase the warranty in June 2023. I called for my first service on July 21st. When my washer was draining the water my kitchen sink filled up with the water the washer was draining. I was then told that the job is sent out and we wait 24-48 hours for the response with an appointment. So I waited and followed up with a call to Choice. I was told no one had accepted the job. I received a phone call from Falcon Plumbing asking if I still needed service? I said yes!! The service was scheduled on July 26th. That is 5 days after my request for service. Not the same day not right away 5 days later. The young man that came out was very efficient . He cleared the pipe and asked me to run the washer to see that the water did not back up into the sink again. Problem solved. I did pay the required $75.00 for the service. I am very disappointed that Choice sounded like it was better than other home warranty co. I realize that Choice was not concerned with getting my repair right away. I have had a home warranty on my home since I purchased it 5 years ago. I think they are just like protection plans you purchase on a home appliance. Everyone will explain how you need this so much when they are trying to sell it to you. Hoping you never need to use it...Bad first experience."

"I started a holiday weekend with my grinder pump alarm sounding. Pump would run but took a very long time to clear the pit, plumber who put the system in was zero help and refused to even come look at it. He suggested calling the company he subcontracted the install to (which I had forgotten) they came and said it wasn't the pump it was fine, appeared to be a blockage in the outgoing lateral to the pressure main. The bad weekend kept getting worse, city came out and said the main was clear and there was noting they could do. They suggested digging up the lateral and replacing it. Packed up the family and went to the in-laws for the rest of the weekend, found J&C who answered my questions and advised over the phone some things to try. Scheduled a service call for monday am (which for many was a holiday), he had car trouble but came out and is the first person that I've had experience with that knew grinder pumps and was able to determine that whatever the blockage was was gone and that there was no need to dig up the yard and driveway, replace the pump and pit etc. Through no fault of James, I had a bad weekend, but he saved the day and so far the system has continued to work without fail."
