"High quality service and very helpful in the planing of things. We Were not sure exactly what we wanted , but Jen & Gary were very helpful with that. They took the time to really listen and help us to get things going the way we wanted.. They completly remodeled our bedroom and master bath. But they did all of our small remodeling projects throughout the house just the way we wanted them. Then they painted the interior of the entire house. All of the work was very professional. Top shelf contractor. Thanks guys! You will be our 1st call for anything we need done from now on."

"Being in our 40s we had never experienced purchasing windows. We had no idea where to start. We had no idea how to budget for them. We did as much research as we could and then had Expo Home Improvement come out to discuss our home. The house is almost 20 years old and we had a broken window and some that were not functioning safely. I was absolutely blown away at how patient and educational this company was with us. This was not a high pressured sales call. They did not over sell us. They truly wanted us to have exactly what was needed for our home. We kept trying to find the angle or reason - one never produced itself. They truly were exactly as they presented themselves. We purchased 42 windows. They met every deadline, kept us informed of where we were in production and install was just as impressive. They cared. They truly cared about their craftsmanship and our home. Every employee we came in contact with had a take ownership attitude. We felt like we were their most important client and they were appreciative. I LOVE my windows. They have lived up to what they showed us in the initial presentation/discussion. They are high quality. They have blocked the Texas heat and zero drafts! Our energy bills reflect the windows! We have used the warranty for 1 window and 1 screen - once again - just as was presented to us and seamless and easy! Even for warranty work - they took ownership, kept us informed and delivered. I dont work there. I am not paid to give this review. I am just a happy client. I would recommend this company to my most discerning friend. I hope you will give them your business!"

"It went FANTASTIC! They completely remodeled the interior of my 20 year old home and relandscaped the outdoors. I made a 175% profit on the sale of my home. Very detail oriented and meticulous in the craftsmanship!"

""We would highly recommend Ace Restoration Builders for your home building and remodeling needs. Our home was flooded during Havery, gutted, and they did the mold remediation. Ace was the most honest and reliable contractor to work with us to restore our home. We worked with each other through timelines, staying in our home, with SBA, ideas, work arounds, changes and every other process of remodel. The outcome has been better than we could have ever imagined!""

"With both building and architectural experience, Wally Westbrook has an excellent understanding of what is needed to achieve the best, and very different, end results for personal homes and investment properties. (He has helped me with both.) I particularly like his ability to understand what a site warrants. For example, he advised that an investment property did not need the size addition I was contemplating to achieve the result I wanted. He looks for cost effective ways to add a "wow" factor to even the most basic house. As if those qualities are not enough to recommend Westbrook Design, Wally is also a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use his services again."

"Amazingly well they took out the old dilapidated fence down and after they put the new one up there was so much more room."

"They did a good job. She had to submit like a photo but my daughter had them work on the central are of the loft. The deal was for one room. She got a lot of good ideal from her and it was worth it for her. They were professional and I did not hear anything negative."

"Great, very professional would re hire again"

"I will be very honest in my assessment of Amanda. Sitting in front of me I have a beautiful design for my living room and dining room in a townhouse I owned in Houston. Amanda picked beautiful, comfortable chairs, nice wallpaper and very cool lighting.  The problem with Amanda is not her ability to design an amazing room - she certainly is very talented. The problem I experienced with Amanda was the inability to handle the details, to stay on top of the project, and to assist with actually putting the room together. This may be a problem in general, with all on-line designers, who knows.  I do know that I ordered this package from Amanda in August of 2013.  My first conference call with her was some time around October, and my designs were given to me (not the complete design) some time in December.  I learned quickly that when Amanda says she would have something for me "by the end of the week," she really meant about 2-3 weeks down the road.  In any event, I was elated when I got my first design for my dining room. I delayed placing an order because the stuff she picked was a bit pricey and I wanted to save my money over the holidays. I placed an order in early February for two rugs and a chandelier - totaling well over $3,000.00. Amanda advised that it could take about 4 weeks for the rugs and chandelier to come, which was no problem with me.  8 weeks passed and I began emailing Amanda. (Mind you that the money was charged to me immediately, with no follow up emails from any of the manufactures, no indication of shipping, nothing... so I began to feel uneasy). After a couple of unreturned emails and phone calls, Amanda apologized for the delay, mentioned that she was surprised I hadn't received anything yet, and explained to me her mother was in an accident. No biggie, but I explained to her that I would be out of the country in mid-April and unavailable to sign for anything. She assured me the rugs were en route from Georgia and would be there before I leave.  As far as the chandelier, we discovered that they had attempted to deliver it, but Amanda had provided them the incorrect phone number, so they were not able to get in touch with me. I asked her to correct this so I could receive the chandelier. Because I never heard back from the company, and no additional attempts to deliver were made, I am assuming she did not do this.  And, as could be expected, the rugs did not come before I left - they came when I was in Germany and when no one was home to sign for them. Since over 12 weeks had passed since my order, I contacted my credit card company and initiated a charge back.  They agreed with me that it was concerning that so much time had passed with very little contact, and immediately refunded my money. (Amanda and her husband eventually tried to fight my chargeback, but they were of course unsuccessful. I did not have the goods, and they never attempted to re-deliver them). Also, I will add the following to things about my experience with Amanda, which bothered me:
1) I was told in January I would have curtains and throw pillows picked out "by the end of the week." Those never came.
2) Amanda said she had a client in Florida who would ship me a sample of the wallpaper. This never came either. Amanda said it was shipped to me - I never received it and kind of doubt it ever was.
So basically, $500 dollars for two rooms of design got me some dining room chairs (albeit - awesome), a table she picked out that was too expensive so I found a different one, some cool wallpaper that I will never be able to get a sample of, two expensive rugs and a chandelier that resulted in a credit card fight and a headache. At the end of the day, my advice is that if you want a talented and friendly person to design your home, don't mind waiting some time for it all to come together, and are cool with locating the stuff and putting it all together on your own, Amanda may be it for you. If you want a designer who is good at following up with details, assuring stuff gets to you in a reasonable time, and assists with pulling the room together and finalizing your project, I would highly recommend you find someone else."

"The Basement Kings finished their LARGE job this morning, and I can’t praise them enough! They had a long, difficult job, but no complaints. When they discovered a problem, they fixed it. No problem, that’s their job. They found the water problem had a lot to do with drainage, so they worked outside in cold & rain & developed a system to carry water away from the house. That, to me, was over & above, but they said their main objective was to get & keep the basement dry, so they did what they had to do with no complaints. Now you can’t ask for better than that - they give their all! I am totally amazed!!"
