"I can't say enough about Hector and his team. It was a big project involving tearing out an old rotting wooden retaining wall and installing one with interlocking blocks -- a LOT of blocks along a very long stretch, multiple levels, and in a place that machinery could not easily reach. I put it out for multiple bids, and some people just make up (higher) numbers. Hector's bid was very competitive, maybe even the lowest, and he did more work than anyone else was proposing to do. In particular, an additional design element that he proposed (he was the only one I talked to who took the time to find out what I liked and didn't like and made a creative suggestion for something new, rather than just replacing what the old one looked like). And then the team was all super professional and friendly, took the time needed to do the job right and it was a lot of very hard work. We've been getting a lot of compliments on the results. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat."

They redid everything in the bathroom, from walls, floors, plumbing, electrical, and shower. Miguel is an expert and was able to anwser all my questions. "Just a little over a year ago we started a full home remodeling project with a different remodeling contractor. Everything was very promising; we had the architectural plan and design all figured out and were very eager to start the remodeling work. Unfortunately, the remodeling contractor who we worked with did not keep to our agreement and it turned out to be a nightmare. We ended up having to stop all work. We felt that our trust was betrayed, and it took some time before we started searching for a new home remodeling contractor who could take over the project. We called the company and scheduled a meeting with Alex. At the meeting we shared our previous experience, and Alex explained that what we had been through with the previous remodeling contractor was not normal and that most companies do not work that way. He promised that with RIJI Home improvements and Handywork we would have a completely different experience. In addition, he insisted on showing us two other home remodeling projects that he had done in the past. RIJI Home improvements and Handywork were not the cheapest remodeling contractors out there, but their price was definitely fair. Working with RIJI Home improvements and Handywork and especially Alex was refreshing and stress free which was what we needed after all the hassle we have been through. The level of communication was and excellent they really came through for us, which is greatly appreciated."
