When we hit snags (which we expected in this older space) he was able to give us reasonable options. And we went with more detailed tiles and the tile work is exquisite. He transformed the bathroom from a place we hated to use into our own personal spa - we had to add a tub and plumbing to the space and he executed our vision perfectly. I cannot tell you how much we love this new space! In addition we updated a bedroom space and installed recessed lighting. Everything came out perfectly. "Excellent. Dave Perrotta, Westbrook Contracting, LLC, was recommended to me by a friend. I am so happy I took her advice. Over the past two years, Dave and his crew have done a beautiful job completely renovating my kitchen and adding a small addition to the side of the house, which included a full bath and closet. The painting was excellent and not only did they paint the dining room, but they fixed the doors to my corner built-in hutch, so they actually close and stay shut. I have received many unsolicited compliments on both the inside and outside work and best of all, the house is just so much more comfortable to live in. I asked about putting a few clothes hooks in the small hallway for rainy day weather, and they built me a beautiful clothes rack, which gets so much use! The shower needed a glass door, something I had never purchased before. Dave not only suggested an excellent vendor, but assisted in the selection. Dave is very easy to work with and his crew is not only skilled but I am very comfortable with them in my home. In addition to his crew, I have been impressed with the quality of sub-contractors, vendors, etc., he used. In closing, my grade school neighbor said it best: "the new addition looks like it was always there"."

"Job was done well in the beginning. Within a week I noticed small cracks in the grout start to appear. I reached out to company not only for the repair but to actually hire for an additional job I was doing on my house. After I showed him the cracks in the grout he said it would be no problem and would come back to take care of it. Never heard back and phone calls/texts were ignored. I ended up filling the cracks on my own. Would have been 5 stars had he just come back"

"I can't say enough about Hector and his team. It was a big project involving tearing out an old rotting wooden retaining wall and installing one with interlocking blocks -- a LOT of blocks along a very long stretch, multiple levels, and in a place that machinery could not easily reach. I put it out for multiple bids, and some people just make up (higher) numbers. Hector's bid was very competitive, maybe even the lowest, and he did more work than anyone else was proposing to do. In particular, an additional design element that he proposed (he was the only one I talked to who took the time to find out what I liked and didn't like and made a creative suggestion for something new, rather than just replacing what the old one looked like). And then the team was all super professional and friendly, took the time needed to do the job right and it was a lot of very hard work. We've been getting a lot of compliments on the results. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat."
