"We had this company come to our home for an estimate. We were told that actually we would be given an EXACT price that day. I received a written agreement and was required to put a portion down. When the install day arrived, they were on time, they cleaned up after themselves and most importantly, once the technicians were here they realized that the tub measurements were off and they could not do the "drop in" tub they had promised. They did not cancel the job, they went to a store and BOUGHT us a brand new bathtub!! I was truly overwhelmed, as I initially felt like they would back out since the measurements were off and they could not do the work they agreed to do. They went over and above what we expected, and I highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering this kind of bathroom "facelift"!! The bathroom looks beautiful, and everything was left clean and tidy---with a new bathroom!! I can't thank them enough for the way they handled the agreement. "We found Manny of Contractors of Phoenix through Angiâ s List/Home Advisor. We did a variety of projects both outside and inside of our home: exterior facia replacement, attic breather-hole sealing, patio support post & beam replacement, â beehiveâ fireplace & chimney removal, moving washer + dryer inside & laundry room cabinetry install, primary bathroom renovation (bathroom was an unexpected addition). We got a quote from Manny and construction was started the following week. All of the project listed above took ~1 monthâ an impressive timeline, if you ask me. Manny picked up my phone calls every time and responded to texts quickly. If we werenâ t present Manny would record videos of the progress to keep us informed. The strong communication was key to completing our project because we had a lot of changes throughout the process (and we are picky with a strong attention to detail). One major change to our project came when Manny identified a leak in our primary bathroom shower. We had to quickly add this to the projectâ we worked together to make the most of the bathroom layout while staying within our budget. The results were well worth itâ beautifully installed tile & shower glass, well placed shower heads & finishes! Whenever we had a concern Manny would listen, reassure us, and take action. Manny and his crew always showed up when he said they would. Peter was the only contractor of five that I enlisted with Service Magic that said I should have a permit for my windows from the city of Arvada. All the others said it was not necessary. Peter mentioned the cost was minimal to do this, but it gave me an extra layer of security that they did the project right. Anymore, if you don't pull a city municipality permit for your project it could come back later as a nightmare when you go to sell the home. The new buyers will require that you document this. D.
