"Bill Maibach knows what he’s doing. We have a small, older (1940) Clintonville house and he was up to every challenge it presented – from plumbing to electrical to window and tile. Bill and his colleague, Dave, took our broken, tiny space and turned it into something clean, modern and functional. Not a day goes by without our family delighting in this new space – it’s just so pretty! Bill is a fountain of knowledge – he made helpful suggestions and every time we talked about the remodel, I learned something new. Ours was a relatively small job for his company, but he was so patient and took time to explain everything to me as this was my first ever remodel. He has seen it all - and even when faced with a rotting subfloor, crumbling wiring and ancient plumbing, he repaired, replaced and upgraded. We are a one-bathroom household, and Bill’s scheduling made sure that we were never without a toilet or water. Remodeling is a messy job, but the rest of our house stayed clean even through demolition work. I’m so pleased with Custom Home Works that I’ve asked them to remodel our kitchen in the spring."

"Tim did a superb job of tearing out the old, putting in the new and repairing the active wet spots in the kitchen ceiling. I feel that his estimates were fair and reasonable and the craftsmanship was a world of difference from the previous subpar job I had done. "We recently remodeled a 100 year-old Craftsman home. We initially discussed the project with Mose Troyer and were very impressed with his knowledge and advice. The project required replacing and replicating a considerable amount of the woodwork. Mose also modified the existing Shaker kitchen cabinets. Modifications included building new cabinets to match the existing ones. He also adjusted several cabinets while maintaining the original look of the cabinetry. Mose also completely built an entire wall of pantry cabinets in the Shaker style. He installed new baseboards and window trim. He rebuilt and repaired existing window trim in several other rooms. Mose integrated the repairs to the point that after painting no one could discern that the sill had been repaired. His work was flawless. In addition, he walled off a doorway and built a bookcase with enclosed shelves in the lower half. He installed 10 new doors with hardware in line with the original style of the home. He also installed two barn doors with hardware. He is conscientious and easy to work with. Without his creativity and craftsmanship the project would never have been as successful and we’re thrilled with the results. Without reservation, we highly recommend Mose for cabinetry/carpentry work."

"Yuri and Sergei of LBT Construction and Remodeling Service, Inc. did a wonderful job converting my loft bonus space into a bedroom. This required them to close the wall overlooking the family room, add a closet and bedroom door, and paint the bedroom and two story family room. It all looks great. The wall looks like it has always been there. Very happy with the way both rooms turned out. The second project was repairing rotted trim around a second floor window. Not surprising when they removed the trim the wood underneath the siding was also rotting. Yuri and Sergei removed the siding for that area, replaced the plywood, covered all with Tyvek, taped around the window, put the siding back in place and trimmed out the window using PVC board. The window looks great and I am totally confident this will never be a problem again. Yuri and Sergei are very professional, knowledgeable, dependable and polite. They clean up everything when they are done only leaving behind a job well done. I will definitely be calling them for my next house update."

"Everything went smooth...from the estimate to the purchase to the installation to the follow-up. My husband commented on some dirt left at the edges of our patio following the installation. He said it was okay, that he'd clean it up, but once I mentioned it to Mark (even though I told him it was okay as was), someone still came out and cleaned up the work area. "Had no intention to do upgrade or remodel . The door bell ring and a young man introduced himself as Jean. Stated that his company was doing a bathroom upgrade across the street . He seemed so genuine we invited him inside to share with us his and ways his company Ark could help us. Our house was built in 1972 , so improvements were needed. We agreed with his proposal and we are very pleased. Ark replaced our old outdated bathroom and laundry room . It looks like a new addition . Jean was on site every day the was being performed. When the work was completed Jean stopped by to see if we’re satisfied"

"After researching different basements remodeling companies we are glad we went with Buckeye Basements. From the initial appointment, James walked us through the steps and was very polite and accurate with the all the information he gave us. He did a rough sketch what it would look like and answered all of our questions that we had. Mike completed the framing part of the basement and he was an awesome guy. My 3 year old daughter really took to him and kept asking when she got up if Mike was coming over this morning. He spent time talking with my wife and children and was very friendly. This is a huge to have this kind of bond with people coming into your house every day. After this the next steps of the process went smoothly from HVAC, plumbing, drywall and painting. Leah and Jon were awesome with communication during the whole process. Leah would email us on a regular basis to let us know who was going to be coming over the next day and what the next steps were. Leah would also get with us to schedule the city inspection to make sure it was a good time for us as well. Jon would stop in and check on the progress which I found to be awesome from an owner. Most larger companies wouldn?t do this as you would never see the owner, not the case with Buckeye Basements. Overall, we are very pleased with the project done by Buckeye Basements and have told our friends, family, and coworkers about them. We truly love the job they did with our basement and their communication was GREAT. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is doing a basement remodeling project.
