"We had interviewed a handful of contractors (the ones who actually showed up to the appointments we made). Some showed up and didn't send estimates or wanted to start without providing one. Or provided overpriced estimates. We were starting to worry...and then we found Arta Construction. We knew instantly we found an honorable, experienced and professional company. Andy is someone who you can shake hands with and know he is going to get the job done. The fit, finish, quality and attention to details were amazing. The heavy doors and special additions to our pre war apartment had a lot of tricky challenges to overcome - uneven floors, leaky windows and radiators - Andy and Arta had a smart solution to any problem and the end result was beautiful. We have a brand new and updated "old detailed" apartment. It is a dream come true. All this was accomplished during the challenging time of the pandemic with many additional restrictions put on us in a building with many, many rules. Arta always had permits in good order, followed all building rules and there was never a single complaint from neighbors. It is so important to have building management not take issue with your contractor. We had no problems at all during a major project. Communication was excellent throughout our relationship. The Arta crew always came to work prepared and with a "no nonsense, get to work attitude" that you appreciate. They value your time and money invested in your project. Our estimate was very reasonable and we stayed perfectly on budget. I highly recommend Arta for projects big and small. They are true artisans and craftsmen and take pride in doing things right and making it right for thier customers. My building super asked if my apartment could be used as a showplace for neighbors to see during construction because it was asked about so often when word got out about our progress. All of our expectations were exceeded. There was never a question or change we asked for that was ever refused. We have already engaged Arta to renovate another apartment for a family member. We are very happy to have Arta Construction as our contractor. They earned our business and will continue to be our construction specialists."

"After my family and I decided to move back to the old Queens house I grew up in to live above my mom, we quickly realized there were many things that needed to be repaired. I've counted on Nunez Construction and Painting for all of it. The first job they did was to repair some siding on the house. Prior to our move, we then wanted to gut and remodel the second floor apartment where we live. Mr. Nunez and his crew did a great job. More recently, our basement became flooded with sewage. We called him again to help with this project and install a new floor. We are always very satisfied customers. The work is great and reasonably priced. We can't thank him enough for being a wonderful person and company to work with."

"I used TKT Remodeling Group LLC for a complete basement remodeling. Treon had wonderful ideas about ways to make my basement function more efficiently. He was the only contractor who took the time to discuss ways to remodel the basement that made sense (e.g., moving the bathroom and closet) into spaces that increased our living space. Treon and his crew are friendly, respectful, punctual, professional, and responsive. He even surprised me with a new, functioning fireplace. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. I was able to go to work and leave the workers alone in my home with no problems. Even after my basement project was completed, I called Treon with questions, and he responded quickly. "Just a little over a year ago we started a full home remodeling project with a different remodeling contractor. Everything was very promising; we had the architectural plan and design all figured out and were very eager to start the remodeling work. Unfortunately, the remodeling contractor who we worked with did not keep to our agreement and it turned out to be a nightmare. We ended up having to stop all work. We felt that our trust was betrayed, and it took some time before we started searching for a new home remodeling contractor who could take over the project. We decided that we would try to find a contractor through friends and family. A friend of a friend recommended RIJI Home improvements and Handywork. He invited us to his home to see their work. He had also had a full home remodeling done by them. After sharing the experience that he had had with Alex and the team, and in addition to seeing their work for ourselves, we were impressed. We called the company and scheduled a meeting with Alex. At the meeting we shared our previous experience, and Alex explained that what we had been through with the previous remodeling contractor was not normal and that most companies do not work that way. He promised that with RIJI Home improvements and Handywork we would have a completely different experience. In addition, he insisted on showing us two other home remodeling projects that he had done in the past. RIJI Home improvements and Handywork were not the cheapest remodeling contractors out there, but their price was definitely fair. Working with RIJI Home improvements and Handywork and especially Alex was refreshing and stress free which was what we needed after all the hassle we have been through. The level of communication was and excellent they really came through for us, which is greatly appreciated."
