"Bill Maibach knows what he’s doing. We have a small, older (1940) Clintonville house and he was up to every challenge it presented – from plumbing to electrical to window and tile. Bill and his colleague, Dave, took our broken, tiny space and turned it into something clean, modern and functional. Not a day goes by without our family delighting in this new space – it’s just so pretty! Bill is a fountain of knowledge – he made helpful suggestions and every time we talked about the remodel, I learned something new. Ours was a relatively small job for his company, but he was so patient and took time to explain everything to me as this was my first ever remodel. He has seen it all - and even when faced with a rotting subfloor, crumbling wiring and ancient plumbing, he repaired, replaced and upgraded. We are a one-bathroom household, and Bill’s scheduling made sure that we were never without a toilet or water. Remodeling is a messy job, but the rest of our house stayed clean even through demolition work. I’m so pleased with Custom Home Works that I’ve asked them to remodel our kitchen in the spring."

"Tim did a superb job of tearing out the old, putting in the new and repairing the active wet spots in the kitchen ceiling. I feel that his estimates were fair and reasonable and the craftsmanship was a world of difference from the previous subpar job I had done. He is very timely, works consistently and stays on schedule. I can't say enough how happy I am with his end result on this project! I'll be having him back to do another bathroom soon!"

"We recently remodeled a 100 year-old Craftsman home. We initially discussed the project with Mose Troyer and were very impressed with his knowledge and advice. The project required replacing and replicating a considerable amount of the woodwork. Mose also modified the existing Shaker kitchen cabinets. Modifications included building new cabinets to match the existing ones. He also adjusted several cabinets while maintaining the original look of the cabinetry. Mose also completely built an entire wall of pantry cabinets in the Shaker style. He installed new baseboards and window trim. He rebuilt and repaired existing window trim in several other rooms. Mose integrated the repairs to the point that after painting no one could discern that the sill had been repaired. His work was flawless. In addition, he walled off a doorway and built a bookcase with enclosed shelves in the lower half. He installed 10 new doors with hardware in line with the original style of the home. He also installed two barn doors with hardware. He is conscientious and easy to work with. Without his creativity and craftsmanship the project would never have been as successful and we’re thrilled with the results. Without reservation, we highly recommend Mose for cabinetry/carpentry work."

Not only did they offer the best price, but also included all permits and quality features such as metal framing without us having to ask. "We had ARK Remodel renovate our downstairs half-bathroom. Every part of the process was easy. They provided custom-work vanities, countertop, and flooring as well as all the plumbing materials and we were pleased with the quality and the variety of options available. We worked specifically with Jean, one of the partners, and he personally oversaw the job from start to finish, stopping in throughout to make sure that everything was on schedule and that we were satisfied with how things were turning out. "Bill Igel does phenomenal work. He is a true craftsman - a rarity nowadays. Everything he does, he does exceptionally well! When I saw the outstanding quality of his work I learned he used to build deluxe high-end homes until our economy "tanked" several years ago. My friend, an architect, stopped by to see Bill's wonderful work. He and Bill used building jargon and terminology as they were discussing the structural integrity of a second wall Bill suggested we remove in my home. My architect friend (who works for a very large and respected corporation in Columbus), was singularly impressed with Bill's knowledge and expertise. The wall was removed. Mr. Igel's idea was awesome! Not only is Bill Igel a diligent worker, but he is an intelligent diligent worker. He holds an engineering degree. That he loves the challenge of making remodeling decisions and working with very high standards is evident in seeing his finished product! I am very excited about how all his work turned out. I am also excited to have met him!
Bill showed up on time and did not even stop to eat lunch. His work ethic is highly commendable. 
 
I became acquainted with Bill because I purchased a "Big Deal" coupon for handyman work on Angie's List. I will continue to use his services for additional remodeling work. If you have any type of 'handyman' work that needs to be done with excellence and expertise, I strongly urge you to call Bill Igel. You will NOT be disappointed.

"Dave Richards Home Improvement did an AMAZING job from start to finish on our basement. Bruce reached out to us same day as our inquiry and scheduled a in-home consultation within 1-2 days. When he came out...he was very friendly, personable and professional. He worked up and reviewed the quote with us that evening which was a very fair price. Other contractors took 10-14 days to provide quotes and were well outside our budget. Another separating characteristic of Dave Richards Home Improvement is that they have different crews for the different phases. Week 1...Flavio came out an did all the framing. Week 2...Mikey, Ashley and Brian came out to do plumbing/electrical/insulation. Week 3...Drywall crew came out to hang/patch/sand. Week 4 & 5...Flooring crew lays LVP/molding and Mikey's crew paints/finishing fixtures. Needless to say they are super efficient and flexible with our needs. The project was completed and exceeded our expectations...with the bonus being that our space was useable prior family guests coming for Christmas. We really enjoyed working on our basement project with Dave Richards Home Improvement and highly recommend them to anyone.
