"Everyone at Quality Remodeling is amazing! They did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. They are very professional and focused on their work. We will use again! We recommend!"

"We could not rate Resurrection Builders any more highly! Ryan Sullivan was responsive in getting back to us and scheduling our initial project estimate. He listened to our ideas and even gave us an itemized proposal so we could see where we could make adjustments as needed. Additionally, Ryan's proposal was fair, and came in under other contractors' cost estimates. Every member of the team that we encountered was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. They worked efficiently and were respectful of our time. The crew went above and beyond to keep construction messes contained to the remodeling area, end even cleaned up at the end of each day. Ryan was in regular contact through each phase of our project to let us know who and what to expect. It is worth noting that the payment structure was divided, which helped to build a sense of trust and rapport, and ensure that all work would be completed and to our standard. We will look to Resurrection Builders for any future projects."

"Remodel was executed quickly and efficiently. If we had any special request, change or concern it was attended to immediately. I appreciate the entire teams’ effort and we are super happy with the outcome."

"We couldn’t have asked for a better company to help us with our first major home improvement. Hivex Finished off our basement and added an additional bathroom to the downstairs. Everyone at Hivex is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, responsive, and patient. They checked in with us regularly and provided updates on the status of our project. The project itself was finished on time and on budget. Even when we had last minute changes, they worked with us to get them done on time and on budget. We highly recommend this company for your basement remodeling needs."

"It worked out well. I hired them for additional jobs."

"Presentation too long, nice sales rep, but took too long. (4 hours!) Miss two windows in estimate - had to do an additional charge of $75.00 which was reasonable. Took two days (thought it would be one) but the job was done very professionally. Happy with the work. Would hire again!"

"We recently completed an attached 2 car garage with finished space above, a large undertaking, and hired Christian with Nighthawk construction. My husband and I Couldn’t be happier with the results. His communication was top notch, always responding to our calls and texts quickly and keeping us in the loop and up to date with plans and progress. He was knowledgeable, professional, and an all around nice guy. He was able to troubleshoot effectively and helped us navigate the home renovation process. We really enjoyed working with him and are thrilled with the final results. The addition looks fantastic and he was able to do it all within our budget. We have recommended him to everyone and won’t hesitate to use him for any future projects."

"The estimate was provided by the Mr. Fix-It/Gutter Helmet salesperson.  He arrived on time and, like the other estimators, walked the house and then made his sales pitch.  We got four estimates total.  Two were very close (around $3000), one was lower but didn't offer solid gutter covers (instead they only carried perforated), and then there was the estimate from Gutter Helmet.  Approximately $6500 for what appears to be an identical product--same size, dimensions, composition, and concept of gutter performance.
The sales pitch was a little more high pressure than the others but not unusual.  There was a long video which I found slightly ridiculous--it is a gutter, I don't need a seven minute video on what gutters do.
My biggest concern during the sales pitch came after the estimate.  It was a lot higher than I thought it should be based on my research so I asked if there were any discounts.  The sales person immediately knocked 20% off the price and indicated possible additional discounts could become available.  That tells me the estimate is inflated and they will work down until they hook a sale.
Given the subjectivity in pricing and the extraordinarily high estimate, I absolutely do not recommend this company.  They claim their product is the best--that is entirely possible.  I don't see how it could be worth twice the cost of another company's product.  We went with Carefree Gutter Guard and they did a great job, their product also carries a lifetime guarantee and costs less than half as much.
I don't usually review estimates--just finished work.  This estimate was so ridiculous that I think it warrants notice.
