"I will start by noting that do to time constraints, we were not able to proceed with Swartz. However, I still feel compelled to provide a review given Aaron's responsiveness, knowledge, and overall professionalism (even after I told him we were going with a different contractor due to the timing needs / issues). In summary, we are purchasing a new home and wanted to have the addition work included in our mortgage. This process required plans and bid work to be completed on a very accelerated time line to meet a short closing timeline. We had not engaged an architect and given this timeline, we ultimately chose a design / build contractor that completed their own drawings. If we had drawings already, Swartz would have been at the top of our list. I wanted to write this review for Swartz to let others know that, similar to other posts you will see on Angie's List, our experience through the initial project review and contractor interview phase gave us tremendous confidence that Swartz Builders would provide quality work. Aaron is clearly knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. We would strongly encourage anyone planning a remodeling or addition project to make sure you consider Swartz and Aaron."

"Bob and his crew did a great job framing the barn. They were able to adapt to the county and local inspections and made sure the site was clean afterwards. He was in contact with me and the subcontractors daily and the project was completed in a timely manner considering the large amount of work that was done. The crew was friendly and cooperative."

"Day one the expectation of the job was misrepresented to the staff. The GM showed up to my house during the measuring process and express visible disdain for me when he found out that the project did not include labor etc... Upon a future visit to the showroom he pulled a designer out of a meeting with me to discuss that I had used up all of my design time and they needed to wrap up the process. Perhaps they should test the thickness of their office walls before having such conversation. I would also like to add that at no point was it communicated with me how much time I had already used or that I was nearing the end of the time allocated in the bid. Prior to making payment for design services I was contacted numerous times to see if I was satisfied with the help I was receiving only to have to tell them I had not yet had my appointment and couldn't speak to a service level. After the appointment a standard of two weeks would go by between contact even when I would reach out for status/information. Lastly there appears to be only one employee there that can call me by name. I have been called Liz or Lynn verbally or in emails (neither of which is my name). I am quite sure the level of service they give is equal to the amount being spent. I am quite soured on the experience as a whole and I am honestly not sure how to proceed as I will need to start over from scratch possibly with a new designer."

"I would recommend XP Construction for a remodel. They were punctual, reasonably priced and provided excellent customer service. Our kitchen looks beautiful. We are already planning on having them remodel our bathroom."

"Frank and his team did an awesome job of remodeling our rehab project in Shelby Township. The property was recently listed on the market and we have received rave reviews on the work and craftsmanship of the remodel. I was very pleased with all faucets of the project as he kept me apprised of all details from the beginning to the end. He was fair with his pricing and even went beyond the scope of work to do other repairs that he was not compensated for. The work was completed in a timely fashion and I am very pleased with the results. We are so excited about doing business with US-Tech that we are looking for other properties in the area just to be able to work with Frank and his team again. I feel very lucky to have established a great relationship with Frank considering we made this selection on Angie's List. Kudos to US-Tech for being an outstanding company that stands behind their work."
