Theyve replaced flooring, installed a completely new kitchen, done plumbing, insulation, installed two new showers, installed a new double door, built two new porches (one screened), poured sidewalks, built a carport into our garage, painted our roofs and garage, and other miscellaneous maintenance. We have been using them for about four years and will continue to hire them for all of our remodeling/maintenance work in the future."

"Job went excellent! Had a full remodel rip out old, in with new kitchen and dining area project. Empire took it head on and done an amazing job, I had an island, counters,cabinets and a pantry put in aswell as 8 floor trusses replaced and new hardwood. Shawn and the guys really exceeded my expectations. finished the job under budget and in a timely manner. will be a returning customer for a patio sun room. "Once we finally got together to meet (both of us had to change plans a couple of times,) the service from beginning to end was great. Paul had an estimate back to us in a couple of days and once we hired him to do the work, he brought over a detailed contract with pricing for us to sign. We gave him a down payment and then installments as the project went along. It took approximately two weeks to finish because we changed some things as we went along. He called us on a regular basis to ensure we were happy and we called him whenever we had questions. He was very easy to contact and always called us back promptly. Paul is very easy to work with and we have hired him to do additional work such as laying hardwood, installing cabinetry, and eventually finishing the rest of our basement. I would recommend him to anyone. He can do it all."

"They did a good job. She had to submit like a photo but my daughter had them work on the central are of the loft. The deal was for one room. She got a lot of good ideal from her and it was worth it for her. They were professional and I did not hear anything negative."

"We purchased the unlimited consultation package. Amanda is very friendly and professional. We struggled because we were looking for someone to consult with out of the box ideas. Once she understood our vision she could move forward, but innovation was not her strength. We paid an additional amount for drawings. These were detailed, and while not all changes were made as requested, we were able to get some value from them. In hindsight, I would not pay $99 for drawings. Any cabinet retailer will do these for you for free, which I did not know until afterwards. The company wants you to spend time telling them about your style, which ours is Country French. The first cabinet rendition we received was black expresso. We did a complete kitchen tear out so this may work fine for smaller jobs or if you have done this before. It just didn't work for us with distance and what we needed. I was able to find someone locally that sold the cabinets we wanted and she was a wealth of information and things moved much faster. Good luck to HMD. It's a good idea and the person we dealt with we liked personally."

"Potter House was very responsive, calling back and providing an upfront no-BS time estimate for when work could actually begin (if we had decided to use them). Due to the busy nature of their schedule, they weren't expecting to be able to begin work for at least three weeks but, knowing the nature of our problem, were willing to come by and provide an estimate. When the gentleman I was dealing with came over to look at our problem he was, once again, upfront about how long it would be before Potter House would be able to begin work. He was also quite knowledgeable and honest about the different aspects of work and sub-contracting that would be required to get done what we needed. All-in-all, I was very appreciative of not being strung along nor having to do my own follow-up. Though we didn't end up using them (since we needed to get the work started before they were available), I would not hesitate to call them up again for future work.
