Chris, Allyson, and everyone else that participated in the project exceeded our expectations. Initially, Chris and Allyson came out to look over the space and understand what we were looking to have done. They listened carefully and advised on what other items to consider. More importantly, Chris advised against certain additional work that other contractors had recommended, even though these additions would result in a higher cost for the project, as he knew the finished result would not meet our expectations. I am very happy that I listened to him. The quote was very detailed and he went over all aspects of the project beforehand to ensure that we were on the same page. The work was initiated on the exact day that he said it would and proceeded at a swift pace. We were able to visit his supplier's showroom to choose from a vast selection of materials. He has a wealth of construction knowledge across many areas and was able to answer all of our questions during each phase of the project. Communication was top-notch! He would touch base with us before and after any work was performed to make sure that it was to our liking and give details on the timing of the next step. "Timber and Meghan were great to work with. The price for the work was extremely reasonable and Timber was very flexible and creative with solutions. The original plan was to power wash and treat the existing fence and pergola. Timber suggested going over the old fence with a new fence and building a new pergola.The overall cost for these changes was pretty much the materials. We provided Timber with a photo of a pergola that we found on line and he recreated it flawlessly. I cannot praise Timber highly enough. We are thrilled with the new deck. One of our friends is a retired home builder who is never impressed. He had nothing but praise for the quality and craftsmanship of the work. We already have plans to engage Timber for additional projects. PS We had to order a new dishwasher while Timber was here. He installed it for us and took the old one away."

"Amazing. YES - you pay a lot - but they rocked, their solution rocked, and the installation was flawless. We just built a brand new home and the builder put in the cheapest 24" deep sump pump possible. We live in an area known for basement flooding so I did my research - had several companies come in - and settled on Connecticut Basement Systems. But my LORD - expensive. But now I know why. Their crew of 3 showed up and laid down plastic mat from our front door all the way down to the basement (at least 200'). It was over kill - but then I saw why. They had to dig a 36" deep pit and a wider hole - and brought up all the mess in buckets. NOT A SINGLE DROP ON THE BASEMENT FLOOR OR ONE THE WAY UP THE STAIRS. In fact - if you didn't see the high tech 3 pump sump pump they installed - you would have never known they were there. EVERYONE was super nice and answered all my many questions. I just spent a year in **** building a new home - and this was the best experience I've had with a contractor in 10 years. Pay the bucks - great product - great installation - great service."
