We loved his suggestion of putting pine on the vaulted ceiling, and the finish work at the bottom on the outside looks great. Matt took care to match our 20 year old siding, and finish the windows and doors to exactly match the others on the house."

The old pool house old building had issues that were revealed as work progressed, and Ani gave me quotes for what each repair would cost. He also helped me pick tile, explain why a floor covering of tile would make more sense than wood in the house. He painted, replaced the roof, created a vent, and created a shutoff switch for the pipe so that a leak might not happen in the future. Above all, the project was completed on time within his estimates. In addition, he was very good to work with and together the project came together very well. He was clear and direct, which is how I like working with someone. I would recommend A&K construction and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

He installed new drywall in the entire room, added some electrical outlets, installed new trim, a new window, new door and LVP flooring. He did an amazing job! "Mike did incredible work transforming our terribly flipped primary bathroom into something my husband and I both enjoy. I reached out to him and he was able to provide a quote to completely gut our bathroom, reframe the shower, add heated flooring, retile the floor and shower, and install a new vanity and mirrors within a few days. He took ~5 weeks to remodel our bathroom, coming to our house every weekday arriving between 8-9 and leaving between 4-5, always with texts with his ETA and updates on the work he was able to accomplish that day. Any discovery work that was found was included in his updates. Towards the end of the remodel some surprise work came up with pieces we were hoping to reuse but were unable to, Mike did a great job handling these surprises and providing timeline updates/working with us to accommodate these last minute changes. "I was very surprised that I had to take care of all the garbage left, after the work was finished. We did not ask and he did not tell us up front who will remove the garbage and there was 12 ,30 gallons bags. Doors that were put in was not painted, and to finish stairs - extra money. ( they were not finished in a professional way) Unfinished area of basement was not protected and there was so much dust that we have to clean. Workers that work for this company are fast and hard working. No complaints here. We asked him to replace 2 ceiling lights with 2 fans . He said it is like 5 hours of work because he needed to install brackets (cost $450). On the end brackets already existed there, he did not needed to install them, everything was done in 1hr and 15 min, and we paid $400."
