Best things I appreciated about the experience was 1) The proposal was incredibly detailed and procedural, which is something our other candidates did not provide, 2) Jim, John and Jose showed up every weekday, consistently and timely, and took the necessary and thoughtful steps to protect the rest of the house, 3) The work was performed carefully with good attention to detail, 4) While there were unexpected circumstances during the remodel that resulted in slightly more work and money than originally proposed, all of it was fairly priced and necessary for what we wanted, 5) Jim was receptive in discussing different options and really made an effort to figure out solutions that would be best for function and aesthetics. I also appreciated that Jim was conscious to proactively communicate timing and schedules. Overall, happy with the experience and the team's efforts and would use them again on future projects."

"The results are really nice, but just took too long to complete, otherwise our project would have been rated "A". The process started in late September 2019 when we were asking for estimates. We really liked working with Teresa and selected Excel for the project in November 2019. We got scheduled for January 6th, 2020 to start a project which was to take 2 to 3 weeks. Roman did the remodel and he was fantastic. Great workmanship and easy to schedule with. While 95% of the project was completed in three weeks, delays with the walk-in shower glass and the linen closet doors pushed that remaining 5% completion out weeks. Covid-19 then added to the delays. The linen closet doors were finally delivered on May 5th, 2020. We are happy with the end result, even after the delays."

"With the exception of the roof, my garage was in a very sorry state before they started - "eyesore" is an apt descriptor. I had contemplated demolishing and starting over, but the cost of permits, new concrete, roof, etc. just didn't make sense for a garage. I'm really glad I went with them and remodeled instead of rebuilding.

He painted the majority of our first floor house and sanded the floor and stained our hardwood floor. His work is awesome and very nice person to deal with.
