"Recommendation for General Remodeling Group: Reliable, Quality Work I hired General Remodeling Group (GRG) for two major projects in my home: a kitchen and dining room remodel ($75k in 2016) and bathroom renovations ($55k in 2018). Visvydas and his team delivered dependable craftmanship, and Iâ m still very satisfied with the results years later. Attention to Detail and Consistent Communication From start to finish, Visvydas kept me updated at every step with straightforward communication, making the whole process run smoothly. GRGs attention to detail also stood out they handled each punch list item promptly, completing everything to a high standard without cutting corners. In addition to my home, I also manage contractors at work, and I know this level of thoroughness is rare. Most contractors leave me frustrated with incomplete tasks, but with GRG, everything was done as it should be. For that reason alone, I feel compelled to recommend GRG, they get the job completed 100% without a fight! Skilled Team with Integrity and Flexibility GRG offers a flexible design-build approach, letting clients be as hands-on or hands-off as they prefer whether you want to make only the big decisions or get involved in the details. I was actively involved and appreciated how Visvydas collaborated with me, offering thoughtful advice and the chance to adjust along the way. Others I know who worked with GRG preferred less involvement and were equally happy with the outcome. They also brought in skilled subcontractors from masons and plumbers to electricians who truly know their craft. When I considered having GRG install new exterior doors and windows (over $100k), they recommended a specialist from another company, showing a real commitment to quality over profit. It reminded me of Miracle on 34th Street, where one shop suggests going to the competition to ensure customer satisfaction. Quality That Holds Up Over Time GRGs work included installing and modifying cabinetry that perfectly matched our kitchen design and detailed tiling that elevated our bathroom, and they performed major plumbing and electrical work without issue. We recently sold our home, and GRGs work still looked new. Even the home inspector praised their craftsmanship; the cabinets, tile, and plumbing looked and worked as if they were just installed. Their work clearly added value to our property. If you want quality work that stands the test of time, I highly recommend General Remodeling Group. GRG delivered for my family and friends, and even eight years later, we are grateful we chose them. PS I rarely see a contractor finish every punch list item 100%, but with GRG, it is like discovering unicorns are real. That alone makes them worth recommending."

"Great customer service, very knowledgeable about what was needed to complete the project. They were able to assist with every aspect of my remodeling project from start to finish, while completing the project prior to the deadline provided. If you are looking for a company that has integrity, and provides great quality work, I suggest choosing them."

"The bathroom remodel went very smoothly and we are very happy with the results. Our tech, Abdias V., was easy to work with and really knew his business."

"Our basement remodel with Top Remodeling was a success. Dan's project management skills and the team's craftsmanship delivered an amazing space."

"My neighbor recommended Top Remodeling, and I am grateful for the referral. Amazing! From our initial consultation to the completion of our Home addition, the experience was seamless. The service provided for our Bathroom remodel was outstanding."

"Home Breakthrough LLC did an AMAZING job on our closet to powder room transformation! We solicited 5 different estimates, and Francisco provided awesome design ideas, spent the most time on our estimate, and actually came in with the most reasonable cost. The work was scheduled in a timely manner, and they finished the job 2 days shorter than estimated. The entire Home Breakthrough team were AMAZING, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for home improvements."

"I highly recommend City Renovations and Remodeling to new and experienced homeowners and investors. In fact, Mike Wiggs, owner of the company, was highly recommended to me from a trusted source. Mike has been my designer, general contractor and project manager for over three years. He and his team of subcontractors for all the trades and handymen have successfully completed numerous projects for me. The internal big jobs included Mike and his team remodeling my basement into a permitted apartment with an egress window, injection well system, and recessed lighting; remodeling my kitchen into a larger space, better layout and upgraded appliances, cabinets, backsplashes (e.g., switching from an electric cooktop island to a slide-in gas range and installing a peninsula); changing the location of the sliding door and a set of windows in my sunroom for better flow and sightline from the front door entry to the patio door leading to my wooded backyard; replacing the damaged one of the two HVAC systems (i.e., one for the first floor and basement and the other for the second floor); and whole house interior painting and decorative touches (accent walls, trim, etc.) The external big jobs included Mike and his team resolving the sources of severe water damage to my two-story front door entry area and installing a new door, side lites and stoop. He resolved other water problems at my house by installing upgraded, larger gutters connecting to a new underground drainage system, and re-grading a section of the backyard next to my house in order to better collect water coming onto the house and move it away from the house. The other jobs Mike and his team completed include installing decorative lighting in the front of my house and security lighting at the sides and back; installing and repairing wooden privacy fencing in my backyard; washing away years of mold, mildew and stains from the siding of my house; and installing shelving for two closets and the laundry room to increase my storage space. After years of City Renovations and Remodeling successfully improving or repairing my home, I hired the company to help me with an investment rental property. Mike completed a walk-thru assessment and report to supplement the information from the home inspector and appraiser. Through my pre-purchase consultation with Mike, I got a good idea of what it would take improve the property given my goals and budget. I look forward to working with Mike and his team to renovate the property."

"Balteza Property Services were given a project to remodel the entire bathroom from basic tub to rain shower model. We were greatly impressed by the quality, momentum and high degree of professionalism. The entire working crew were very punctual , diligent and responsible in their entire process of remodeling. We were very impressed by their execution of hauling out the debris and amount of dust during their work. At the end a through clean up was done. Kudos to Vasil Puli who led the team and did a great job. We highly recommend this company for any project involving bathroom remodeling. We will hire them again without any hesitation."

"Excellent service. My project started with a kitchen remodel, and when I saw how professional the team was and the outstanding and the meticulous work, I asked them to help with other projects. So I had them do a partial basement remodel, and then repairs to the outside steps. More work coming your way LFC. THANK YOU!"

"Devin and his wonderful crew are in the process of doing all of the remodeling work listed above, but I am so impressed with them I wanted to get some of this down now.
In mid-April/late May, I found evidence that there was a mouse in my house (ewww), and despite my best efforts, and hiring Orkin (I'll review them, too), I could never find/capture the darn thing. So, I decided I was going to hire a contractor to come "mouse-proof" my house, and while I was at it, I was going to create the kitchen/dining room, laundry room and bathroom I wanted. Just like we are taught, I selected 3 contractors to come and discuss the work I wanted done and to get estimates. One never showed, even though he made an appointment, one told me why I couldn't do the work I wanted done, and then there was Devin.
From the first time I spoke with Devin (first in email, then on the phone, then in person), I knew we would work well together. He never told me I *couldn't* do any of the things I wanted done, but he gave me a realistic idea of how much it was going to cost me. Then, he did a walkthrough of the house, and not only did he help me put my ideas into a realistic framework, he went the extra mile and went into my crawl space and found some structural damage that had to be repaired before any of the remodeling could be done. He was honest with me about how much the work would cost, and he and the guys have already improved the feel of the whole house by repairing the support structure on the house. Before Devin and his crew got to work, the floor slanted in places, and now the floor is completely level. The one other contractor that came to look at the house (and told me my remodel ideas were wrong), didn't even look at the support beams or the crawl space.
Once we had the price range set, he brought in a wonderful, patient, architect who drew up such good plans that I could actually visualize what my new space would look like, and then brought in an interior designer to help with the cabinets, appliances and look of the place.
Devin and his crew have been working on the house for a couple weeks now, and every time I go to look at it (I did mention that they are re-doing the bathroom, right?) there is something new and wonderful to see. One of the best things about the work is that they are cleaning up as they go. In fact, they built a wall between where they are doing the major work and where I was still living in the house (until the bathroom got gone) so that no dust or debris was in the living areas of the house. And, once I moved out due to lack of "facilities", they taped off my rooms to keep the dust out while they installed the lighting and while they worked on the bathroom.
The bottom line is, just based on the work that's been done so far, I would recommend Marvell Homes LLC to anyone who is looking to upgrade their home.
I'll update this review (hopefully with pictures) when the work is done.

So, the work is done, and I love my house! Life got in the way, and I couldn't get to this update as quickly as I wanted to, but I couldn't *not* finish this review.

The remodel came out better than I had ever hoped, and I *love* my new spaces! Devin and the guys turned my dinky little cramped house into a home I'm proud of. And he did it all within the budget he originally quoted me. Not only that, but he came back and fixed the one minor problem that cropped up after the job was done! Who *does* that these days?

I was so pleased with the work Devin and the guys did on the public rooms of the house, I've already started saving to have them work their magic on the bedrooms, and I wouldn't even *think* of using another contractor for anything I need done."
