"Having just moved to this area, we needed someone to check on our heating equipment, prior to the real cold weather.  This equipment includes the furnace, air to air exchanger, humidifier, and fireplace.  Using Angie's List as a guide, we chose Freier's, because of the positive comments.  I called them on a Tuesday and they came out that Friday.  Mike, the service technician, arrived right on time and proceeded to checking the different areas.  Knowing that we just moved in, and we did not know all of the equipment, he took time to explain how it all worked and what we need to do, in between cleanings.  Mike was extremely patient and thorough and also did a great job cleaning up after himself.  Both my wife and I were very pleased and because of this visit, have signed an annual agreement (we had this in our old house in North Carolina), for future cleanings.  He was at the house for about 2 hours and when he left, we felt very secure knowing that everything is working properly.  We plan on continuing to use them."

Riley always kept me informed on the progress of the work he was doing and before leaving THOROUGHLY explained the condition of my air conditioner and what I can do to extend its life. "Having had bad experiences in the past, I can be pretty wary of contractors, but I need not have worried with Riley! We were in a no-heat situation during cold weather and he was able to move things around and get to us within a few hours. During the diagnostic, he insisted I was present as he walked me through what he was testing and what the expected results would be. There was full transparency. Once the issue was diagnosed, Riley offered different options to solve the issue. There was no sales pressure, he wanted to find the right option for us. Given the age and condition of our system we opted for a new HVAC system and Riley presented us with different solutions, again with no pressure. The installation was scheduled quickly and I was amazed with the quality of the workmanship and service he offered. His pricing is very fair but in terms of value for money, his service, professionalism, and workmanship easily beats any of the ‘big names’."

"I received a phone call from the Boy's AirTech office the day before my scheduled service call confirming my appointment for the following day. The day of the appointment, I received a phone call from Chuck (service tech) to let me know that he was en route to my home and his estimated time of arrival. Upon arrival, Chuck immediately started a thorough system condition and performance inspection, using a detailed checklist. During this process, Chuck asked several questions about the system's history and past maintenance. He also offered several suggestions about ways to improve the system's function and upgrade its performance and efficiency. At the conclusion of his inspection, he sat down with me and gave me a summary report of what he found and provided me with a copy of the checklist - as well as a quote for the items that he recommended earlier that could enhance the system's performance. Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. Just trying to do more to help my Angies List customers!!******** I am a sole proprietor that works out of my home. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. I am always available, but don't always answer my phone, but if you leave a message, I promise to back with you as soon as possible...and figure out how to get your issue resolved in a quick, efficient and economical manner.
