"I called Buric (on advice of friend/neighbor) when A/C wasn't working and I asked what to expect in their charges. The guy on the phone told me they charge a flat $95 (or $99?) for driving out here. So I asked if they charge by the hour or half hour. No, he said, by the job. He couldn't give me an estimate because he didn't know what was wrong. So, a technician came out and diagnosed my unit (which blew air but didn't get cold) as old & dead and needing replacement. So, in my mind, there was really there was no job outside of replacement. In their mind, they did a job by taking 10 minutes to look at the unit and tell me there was nothing to be done for it. So, instead of charging me $99 for coming out, they charged me $230 for coming out AND telling me the unit couldn't be fixed. That irritated me. Then I asked for a bid for new system. The guy went out and talked on the phone to his boss and come back with a written bid. I later compared it with my second bid from another co. Buric's bid was higher than the company I selected, but not enough to sway me if I had liked their way of doing business. However, the previous (over)charge, which was not explained by the guy I spoke to when I first called, left such a bad taste in my mouth I couldn't go with them. So that extra $130 they made cost them around $5000. I hope it was worth it to them. BTW, if I had gone with them, they would have subtracted the $230 from the bid, but I just couldn't get past it. So, I am not saying anything about the quality of their work--it may be just fine, but I don't like the way they did business."

"Showed up late, didn't install the bathroom fan as the manufacturer recommended (pic, fan5), dented the fan grille (pic, fan1). It was installed without the supplied support rails because he claimed he couldn't get in the attic. Now sure how I got the photos, then... The vent hose was kinked in the attic and hardly any air came out of the soffit, so I had to go into the attic to correct it. That's when I took the photos. Didn't give a price up front because apparently a bath fan with bluetooth speakers isn't in whatever book they price from. Not in the book? Overcharge. Generally very unhappy with the whole experience and will be looking elsewhere in the future. Not sure how when the customer supplies EVERYTHING but a romex clamp someone can charge so much. Absolutely unacceptable. $465 to have someone dent my fan, install it incorrectly, and throw out the parts that weren't used. Like the battery to the manufacturer supplied remote and the joist supports. I'm leaving the cost of service as originally quoted because it was only lowered to $465 after I complained about being ripped off."

"Angie's List reviews made me go with GAC Services for a new furnace and air conditioning unit. Five mechanics showed up early in the morning in three trucks. They were clean cut young men and very polite. They made a lay down area in my basement with blankets. They wore covers over there shoes while in and out of the house. They were very respectful of my home. They worked non stop until 5:00 PM. They had a separate sheet metal mechanic that showed up and did really nice sheet metal work. I was impressed. After a year went by my thermostat went out and they came out and replaced it free of charge. I signed up for the maintenance contract and they come out twice a year . Once in the winter and once in the summer. Another part went bad after two years and it was under warranty and they replaced it free of charge. They are honest and reliable. I highly recommend them."

It was Friday afternoon and we both agreed the issue was non-urgent so we scheduled an early Monday morning visit. He showed up at 8a sharp as we agreed and he did a thorough check of our AC system. Edmond is very knowledgeable and he explained everything thoroughly. He gave me a couple of suggestions. I’m pretty handy so I’ll try to tackle it myself. He said to just call him if I get stuck and he could either come back out or coach me over the phone. Pricing is reasonable and quality of service is top-notch. "Moises came out the same day that I requested an estimate for the installation of a UV light whole house air purification system, and to chemically clean my AC coil. I had another estimate but Moises gave me a better deal. He also recommended getting a cover for my AC unit for the winter, when he opened it up it was full of leaves and debris. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and would highly recommend MSR."

From start to finish, through removal of the old furnace to installation & operation of the new furnace, the service technician was knowledgable & experienced in doing the work, and helpful in answering questions and explaining the use and operation of the new furnace.
