"Well, my experience was a homeowners nightmare turned dream come true scenario. My furnace went out, my wife said get this fixed ASAP! I went to Home Advisor and Victory Heating and Cooling was one of three that were recommended. I hired Victory Heating and Cooling and they were very responsive to my needs and made a same day appointment. Amanda took my call and was very nice. Jamal was the technician that arrived and he was very courteous as he put on booties and wore his mask before entering my home. Jamal quickly troubleshot the issue to a corroded sensor probe. I was fully expecting something much worse as you never know with electronics. He cleaned the probe, reinstalled it, turned the system on and it worked like a charm! HEAT AGAIN! I found out that the company is veteran owned and I really appreciated that as my wife and I are both retired Air Force veterans. My bill was more than fair and I even bought the service plan. The whole visit took less than 20 minutes! Yes it was an easy fix this time but the whole experience was the best I could have asked for and for that Iâ m very pleased with Home Advisor and Victory Heating and Cooling. Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. "Our air conditioning was not working properly and we called to try and get someone out the same day. We live in the country south of Pueblo and many companies don't want to come out. This company called me when other companies said they couldn't because the were booked. Home Advisor had called them and they called us the same day. We discovered that our furnace was going to cause us problems as well and they gave us a GREAT deal to replace both the air conditioner and the furnace and had them installed in a very short time.
