"Mike (service technician) was very professional, providing step by step reporting on inspection points, measured values on defective components and the added value of surge protectors on ac units. Mike, did not mind my tagalong, over the shoulder review of cleaning and inspections, along with the many questions. Very impressed with his HVAC knowledge and patience. Would recommend Russell's Heating & Air Conditioning for servicing HVAC's.

"Through Porch Services I hired Fix It All Appliance Repair to install my over-the-range microwave oven. Nick was very professional and prior to hiring him he told me exactly what the job would cost, so there were no surprises. Since he came on his own he did need an extra set of hands to take down the old microwave and put up the new one, but again, he asked that I have someone at home to help him with these quick tasks. I was very satisfied with the work."

Yes, buying appliances in a bundle can save you money and reduce the cost per unit. Retailers often offer discounts when you purchase three or more appliances from the same brand together. This approach not only lowers your appliance expenses but also simplifies installation coordination, providing financial and scheduling benefits.
The best time to buy a new appliance is when your current one fails or during a renovation. Major shopping holidays like Black Friday and Labor Day offer seasonal sales with better discounts. Planning your purchase during these times helps you maximize savings and aligns with your home improvement plans.
When you buy a new appliance, many retailers will also remove and dispose of your old appliances when they come to install the new ones. To dispose of your old appliance yourself, start by safely disconnecting it. If it's no longer functional, you can recycle it. If it still operates safely, consider donating or selling it to recoup some value. Some retailers offer trade-in programs for discounts on new models. These options promote eco-friendly disposal and help reduce waste.
