First off, the owner Moshe is a real pleasure to work with.  He and his team have a passion to do a good job.  His office manager, Lee is on top of her game at all times.  She did a great job of keeping me apprised of the status of the project, deliverables, and informed me when payments were due.  This was supposed to be a three month project, and turned out to be a 4 month project, primarily because I added more to the scope of work.  There was a long delay with the City of Claremont in getting permits which cause the project to be delayed about 1 1/2 months or so.
Moshe had great references for various vendors to work with.  This made the project go smoother, as all of the references were people had good relationships with Moshe.  In most cases, I received the contractor's pricing for appliances and material.
His workers are one of the hardest working crews I've ever seen.  They are passionate about doing a good job.  The dry walling and slurry sealing was impeccable.  Paint work was excellent.  His foreman, Adalid, is very knowledgeable and thorough in his work.  There was nothing that he could not solve.
I don't want to make it sound like there were not any bumps in the road.  There were communication issues that came up, and Moshe and his team were able to resolve.  There were some disagreements about what was supposed to be included in the specs, but we worked through some of those issues.
Much of the communications was done by email which made the project easier for me to manage.
If there was anything that I would offer up that Moshe could have done better it would be to work more closely with the home

owner in anticipating exactly what is needed to satisfy the homeowner.  One of the questions I had for Moshe was what would be the estimated cost of all the material I would have to buy to complete the job.  His pricing was for doing the construction work.   I made it clear to Moshe that I was building my dream home and that was not going to be skimping on appliances and material.  I spent far more money on material than  Moshe had estimated.
Moshe was quick to do a contract for me, and yes, he did give me opportunity to review the specifications, however, I felt that I was being rushed to sign a contract without fully absorbing all the specs.  There were things that I had told Moshe that I wanted to do to the house, yet, it was not included in the specs.  He did give me an opportunity to review and add, however, in my haste to get the project started, I didn't look closely enough at all the specs to see if the items I expected he was going to do was in the contract.  Needless to say, my advice to anyone who is embarking on a major remodel needs to completely know what he/she wants to have done and included in the project.  Otherwise, all of these omitted items will be adds to the project.
My advice to Moshe to be an even more effective home builder, he should be anticipating what the customer wants before the customer even knows he/she wants it.
Overall, Moshe and his team was a pleasure to work with.  I would recommend him to anyone.  I would use him again in the future."

"The repairman arrived late due to an accident on the freeway.  The office did call me to let me know.  I showed him the area that needed to be reparied.  He asked me if I had some of the supplies I thought he would have brought for drywall repair such as tape and texturing.  He said the company should have told me to provide this, and I indicated no one told me anything.  Eventually, he ran out to Home Depot which took over an hour, and came back with the proper supplies.  He finished the job in the time allotted.  It is an adequate job.  It was in my laundry room behind the appliances so I wasn't so concerned about how it looks.  If I had been concerned about that, the job wouldn't have been satisfactory.

"They came out and it turned into a $6,000 - $7,000 job. They were not able to do part of the job, because we didn’t have a direct line in the front of our house. They had to install an opening in the front of our house, which was a couple thousands of dollars. They then came with their machines and cleaned from our furthest bathroom in the back, straight light, and replaced the sewer line to the edge of our property. They used some plastic, but I never got a warranty on it to see how long it will last for. Edgar came out and he was very nice. They were very prompt, courteous and they also installed 2 toilets for us too."

"Danny keeps us posted on the work timeline and we know scheduled plans.  All work has been done on time and exceptionally well.  We have had total demolition of kitchen, walls removed in rooms to expand kitchen area.  We found a mold problem and Danny immediately arranged to have the mold identified and removed which included dry wall removal, etc.  We have converted from regular lighting to LED in entire area and also added recessed lighting in entire area.  Entire flooring removed and new ceramic tile has been installed.  It will be sealed and finished this week.  Next step is installation of the cabinets. Workers are all very good, experience and most important trustworthy.  The project was predicted to be 4 months from beginning to finish and it appears that it will be done in 3 months. Our gas  fireplace was outdated and the outside has been removed, new structure built and it will be a modern beautiful fireplace now. All drywall has been restored and the paint color was matched perfectly, as well as the texture of the drywall finish.  Danny has been with us from the sales process and on-going.  We can ask a question anytime by call or text and he responds immediately.  We would recommend Good Fellas and Danny anytime to anyone.  Very pleased with the work that is being done.
