"We just had West Coast Awnings install our retractable awning and are very impressed with the quality and ease of use. The installers, Robert and Randy were efficient and did a seamless install. Not only were they very experienced they were extremely courteous and answered all of our questions. Do not hesitate to hire this exceptional organization for your awning needs."

"Best prices of the three companies that we went to for estimates. Great service, quick installation after the blinds were ready, and we love the product! Highly recommended!"

"They gave us a price. They showed us the fabrics and gave us an idea as to what would work in our yard. They did not charge us anything to come out and take measurements. They quoted $3100 for the whole metal structure, the awning and the umbrella fabric. It is a 20 feet long and 8 feet deep awning that will be connected to the house. It is a big awning. This was the first time that we used this company. They were very nice and polite. The owner of the company came out to give a quote. It did not require a down payment. We will consider using this company in the future."

"This company only does metal awnings I have cloth. So it was NA. Had to rate in order to complete this Review. This rating should be removed after you read my comment. Should not have to rate someone that didn't do the work. N/A should be up there with ABCDEF"

"All American showed up on time and finished in a timely manner. They did it just how I wanted it without any problems. I am very pleased with their work. Barry, the owner came out with a helper, the two of which were very friendly. I would strongly recommend All American for future projects. Their expertise in construction really shines through their work.

"The sales rep showed up on time, excellent presentation. There is no doubt about the quality of the product and I was confident that the installation would be performed above standards. But,..The price was considerably higher (approximately 3k) than another product / installer that I was already comfortable with and felt was an equal product."

"They did an awesome job. They were a great company. I would use them again."
Retractable awnings are not designed to be used in the rain. They are intended to provide shade on dry, sunny days, rather than protecting people and furnishings from precipitation, and certainly not against heavy storms. The retractable awning may be fine with a light drizzle, but you should retract it if you expect inclement weather or severe storms.
Depending on your local climate conditions, some retractable awnings can be used year-round, including during both winter and summer. However, you should carefully check the instructions for your specific product and find out what steps you should take to winterize the awning fabric. Sometimes, you can purchase a special cover to place over the material during winter.
Retractable awnings offer significant benefits by instantly enhancing outdoor comfort and protecting your furniture and living spaces from harmful UV exposure and inclement weather. They provide efficient shade that lowers cooling expenses and add a modern, stylish touch to your home’s exterior. Their installation extends the usable area of patios and decks while reducing maintenance needs by safeguarding surfaces against sun damage and rain.
