For our main stairwell, we needed to build a closed stringer, custom railing, newel post, stair treads to match existing floors, and trim work. He was the ONLY person willing to custom build the newel post to the exact dimension and style I wanted and actually sat with me and drew it out exactly. Every other bidder told me my only option was to choose from a catalog, but Russ fashioned it from scratch! This convinced me he was the one to hire for ANY CUSTOM WOODWORK. Russ brought my vision to life by closing the stringer and building a clean and simplified trim. He worked with me on the stain for both railing and stair treads and did not give up until we were both satisfied. Matching the stain and matter finish of our floors was a major accomplishment in and of itself. For anything involving woodwork, Russ is your guy!"

"Josh painted the cabinets in my rather large kitchen as well as my front door and shutters. Josh was very prompt, courteous and professional. Not to mention his price was the absolute best. He arrived early, but waited until the scheduled time to knock on the door. He managed his time well and completed the job a day ahead of what was originally scheduled. It was originally my job to get the paint, which I forgot to do, but Josh had no problem going to the store and ordering the paint. He was very honest, leaving me the receipts and all the extra materials. Oh did I forget to mention parts of the base boards around the cabinets were cracked, he replaced them with no problem. I Will definitely be using his services again, in fact I already have another job lined up for him.

"Ybarra Professional Builders did 2 big plumbing projects on my house and property. Not only did they install a brand-new main water line to replace the old leaking galvanized steel pipe, but they also re-piped my house's plumbing as it was also made from that same rusting out galvanized steel. I also had some other major work done by them at the same time (tree removal and sprinkler repair) but since Home Advisor asked for a specific type of project for this review, I will only review the plumbing projects. Vlad was the project manager for all of these projects. He coordinated all of the sub-contractors' work and got the projects done in a timely manner. There were none of the time issues that I had heard about with other contractors, such as waiting weeks between one phase of a project to get the next one started-after one phase was done, the next phase would begin with no more than a day or two in between. He was very pleasant and very patient with my many questions and concerns and kept me up-to-date with what was happening. The project that I most dreaded, the house plumbing re-piping, was not as bad as I thought it would be, to my great relief. All of the people who I dealt with at Ybarra were pleasant and professional, from the sub-contractors to the office staff. I think the quality of the work performed was very good. In the additional clean-up phase, the holes in the drywall where the plumbing had been re-piped were patched and painted, and the concrete where the driveway had to be cut to replace the main water line was re-poured. This portion of the project was available as an additional cost, but the workmanship was very good. I had heard and read many horror stories about dealing with contractors so working with this group was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Vlad."

"They came on the correct day and did the work.  Once they arrived, they called me to say the cost would be an extra $50 because of the square footage.  they were previously cleaned by another company for $100.00.  They left several patches of wet leaves from the gutters on the lawn.
