Get matched with top carpenters in Far Rockaway, NY

"We started out with a budget just for the kitchen to repaint the kitchen cabinets, replace the flooring with porcelain tiles, redo the peninsula, use quartz for the counter tops, add recess lighting, and center the lighting fan. Into the job, based on Harvey's excellent advice, we decided to get new kitchen cabinets, have Harvey and his team build storage cabinets above the new cabinets instead of having a soffit built in that open space. We also had a pantry rebuilt by Harvey and his team as well. Lastly we had the peninsula changed to an island with cabinets added underneath as well. Also, we decided to redo the small (powder) bathroom on the main floor. Harvey and his team were awesome. He was very patient in allowing us to make changes to the original plans that turned out quite outstanding. His team always showed up early for work. The quality of the work was simply outstanding. Instead of half doing things like what we got with the Home Depot contractors in years prior, Harvey and his team took things back to the studs and made sure the things were built the right way. I now feel very confident about what is behind the walls and how the work was done. I will attached pictures of the kitchen and bathroom by next week. We are still putting things back into the new cabinets now and etc. We are extremely happy with the work Harvey and his team did. We intend to use them for a few other projects in the future. If you're really thinking about having work done on your home, I would highly recommend that you speak with Harvey to have his team come to do an amazing job for you as well. He will work with you on to provide competitive pricing. In the end it's all about quality work that you can feel great about. We feel great!!!!!!! :)"

"They were very professional. Arrived on time, completed the work in two days as promised. The price was reasonable and they cleaned up everything. The two men were very friendly. Go on their website and see before and after pictures of the deck. We are very pleased and would hire them for our next job. William and Virginia Potts of Centereach"

"We hired Abdul, of RRS Builders, to take over a stalled deck construction and installation project from a previous contractor who had disappeared with our money. We had a hard time finding someone to take over the partially-started, messy job, requiring many corrections. We found RRS through the subcontractor who had fabricated the frame of the deck, and had also been robbed by the first contractor. Before signing a contract, we thoroughly researched RRS and Abdul through a private investigator, who found no problems. Abdul corrected all of the first contractor's mistakes and built us a beautiful deck in just a couple weeks. His crew was reliable, meticulous, and respectful and his pricing was reasonable. DOB immediately approved the deck on our land marked building without any issues. We would love to work with Abdul again and will go to RRS immediately with any future jobs."

"The day I saw the T&S Handyman truck parked on my street was the luckiest day in my renovation life! Temur, the owner, met with me and we scoped out what I was looking to have done. After agreeing on the the job details, the job began promptly and continued without missing a day. He and his crew, Said and Firuz, treated my place with great care while focusing on the smallest details of their work. All three are terrific craftsmen. They're great guys who take much pride in their work and aren't happy until the customer is. It can be so difficult to find an honest and trustworthy contractor, I'm telling you Temur is one of the few. Do yourself a favor and hire these men for the work you have in mind. You will be happy you did."

"I would absolutely recommend Robert to anyone who needs work done on their home. We got estimates from and spoke with many contractors and home improvement companies, but we were looking for someone we could work with for this and future projects as well as someone we could speak with for advice and guidance. I tend to be very picky with the people I work with. Robert was the most straightforward, reasonable, and knowledgeable person we spoke with. His prices are great as well. He makes sure to go above and beyond so the work is completed perfectly the first time with a very high level of detail. Our home is from the mid-50s and had original siding, windows, doors, some unusual characteristics, broken old air conditioners barely held into the walls, and a lot of rot. You could feel drafts in some parts of the house and the heat would run pretty much constantly in the winter. We had a lot of work that needed to be done. Robert transformed our home from the worst looking house on the block to the best looking house on the block with new vinyl shake siding, custom doors, custom windows, custom interior window trim, exterior lighting, a new garage door, foundation repair and paint, framing, insulation, drywall installation and repair, and a bunch of other repairs along the way. He fixed numerous additional issues as the work was completed, giving us results that will last while keeping our budget in mind. It looks and feels like a brand new house. Robert and his team are also friendly and understanding. You may be reading this review in the future, but the year is 2020 and this is a very different year. My wife and I are both working from home, and our son is home too. Through the project, Robert and his team made sure to work area by area and cleaned as they moved to minimize the impact to our family. This level of care is very difficult to find. After working with Robert, I can say I will definitely work with him for all my future projects. After seeing Robert and his team working on our house and the results, our neighbors have started hiring him to take care of their various needs as well."

"We had a few jobs including grouting of shower, reinforcing kitchen cabinets and making a wall opening in our laundry room. Angel and his workers are truly professional, friendly and hard working. They were perfectionists."

"I called and they responded immediately.. Came out to house and gave a reasonable estimate for job.. I hired them and they had the job done in two days, workers were nice and friendly. They matched my siding and you can not even tell where the new siding was installed. Very happy with the job they did, decided to get to do my gutters also, and get a estimate for them to paint and seal my new deck. Patricia P"

"Olsen did a fabulous job! The deck looks great. He went above and beyond by cutting some branches off a tree that was leaving debris on my deck. He also fixed my electrical boxes on the back deck. His workers were polite. I would recommend Olsen and his price was very fair."

"Danny ripped out my old 800+ sq ft porch/deck; rebuilt/and repaired rotted railing posts. I am very satisfied with the outcome. He is a diligent worker. Showed up when he said he would and completed my project when he said he would. He is very focused on detail and takes pride in his work. I would (and have already) recommend him to others. He was a pleasure to work with."

"Excellent service within hours of contact my furniture was assembled by a very professional gentleman."
