"Ultimately, I chose to hire a company to do the cabinet work in my garage to save me time. I made my decision based on a credible referral, good written reviews, and a good sample of work. It is bothersome that the company does not have the quality control in place to ensure consistency in the delivery of their product. It is equally bothersome that they would expect me to waste more of my time so that they can attempt to fix a known issue that should have been addressed up front. I have only had this one experience with Absolute Closets and Cabinetry, but based on this experience alone, I will not be working with them again. Needles to say, we didn't have them do the laundry room cabinets."

They made my inexpensive tiles look like a million bucks. Mike is always easy to get in touch with, and both he and his crew are very pleasant to work with. All three of the bids I received were very close, and I chose Mike because he was the most prompt and professional, and provided the most detailed quote. I immediately felt confident that his work would be high quality. At the end of the project, they left their work areas even cleaner than they were in the first place. "Rudolph arrived on time and was prepared to work the full day if needed to complete our projects. He has integrity! We had a laundry list of items to be repaired, and he let us know for several items on the list that we should hire another provider to complete the work. Some things he said he could do, but wouldn't do it as well as another professional. He even went so far as to provide us recommendations for who to call for a couple things (custom door weather stripping & ceiling fan repairs). We will be hiring him again later this year to repair and paint our fence/gates as well as install casters on a cabinet. The only reason I gave him a 'B' for quality was because one of our chair legs was repaired with a gap where there shouldn't be a gap, so the attention to detail on this repair faded. The quality of that work was not on par with everything else. He has promised to deliver puddy when in the area next since re-doing the repair may damage the chairs thanks to the wood glue. The wood glue overflow seemed excessive to my husband, but I believe that is normal and we were able to remove it once dry. The other 'B' for professionalism was regarding cleanup - which is one of my pet peeves with contractors. The keys to my back fence gate (which includes a house key) were left in the gate unattended during the day, and not returned at the end of the day. There were extra pieces of the chicken wire which we had to throw away. And the old chicken wire was thrown away in our recycling bin instead of trash bin."
