Get matched with top carpenters in Wellesley Hills, MA

"As all the previous reviewers have said, DC 57 Construction is definitely a 5 star company. Lucas came to my home 3 times and helped me plan out the job. The job included: rebuilding a wood ladder to the upstairs loft, installing a railing and a new door in the loft, and adding shelves in the bathrooms. In addition, Lucas installed two railings for my back deck. Lucas and Tiago are both finish carpenters and they do excellent work at a very reasonable price. I am having Lucas come back soon to install a new screen door. Hiring Lucas and Tiago was definitely a great decision as my home looks much better."

"Gaby helped us remodel our kitchen. We wanted to keep our existing custom cabinets but modernize the appearance. Gaby transformed the look from a country style kitchen to a more modern, crisp design by: -extending the cabinets about 10” to the ceiling, and adding molding and trim work -replacing faux legs in our island and cooking area with clean edges -building custom decorative panels for the island and columns -removing a cabinet to make room for a beverage center -countless repairs and fixes Gaby also coordinated painting - both the cabinets and the ceiling/walls, and painted over 50 cabinet doors/drawers himself. The painting turned out absolutely beautiful and professional - as if the cabinets were white from the beginning. He also coordinated many of the other jobs, including recommending an electrician for us who was also very reliable and professional. In many ways, he acted like a GC for us in addition to a carpenter. Can’t say enough about Gaby. He is an outstanding, meticulous carpenter. He knows his stuff in and out. He is reliable, prompt, efficient, reasonable, and goes above and beyond to deliver amazing results. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone and already planning other carpentry projects with him in mind. A+, 10/10, fabulous to work with. Thank you Gaby!"

"Work went very well. They were quite thorough and easy to work with. Very pleased with our new deck."

"Bob did a perfect job on exactly what I wanted on replacing fireplace mantel and having tile on the floor and around the fireplace. I would highly recommend Bob and his crew to do any project ."

"Mr DeVaux did an excellent job on the finish carpentry work, painting and staining on a stain glass window frame install in an existing wall. The mitered corners had no gaps. Even though the job requirements changed somewhat there were no additional charges. I plan to hire him again on additional projects."

"Mike Bauman did a kitchen and family room remodel for us. New ceilings, insulation, drywall, recessed lighting and new windows in the family room as well. It all looks wonderful and we’re very happy with the work. Mike is easy to work and communicate with and is reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend him if you have any remodeling projects around the house!"

"Excellent work! Very thoughtful, precise, and amazing carpenters -- I highly recommend."

"I had been compiling a list of projects /repairs for quite a while. Reached out to Todd Booth’s company based on the 5 star reviews! Working with these professionals was EXCEPTIONAL at the very least. My “punch list” included repairing/purchasing/replacing new doors, hanging a bannister, replacing a baluster, measuring and ordering an outdoor screen….hanging a light, plastering-painting and the hanging curtain rods, assistance with restoring bar stools …. Within days I was emailed a detailed quote on each project! Todd and Dave were punctual, professional, kind, tidy and just really nice people! Todd found little extra ways to make the home safer- adding an extra bracket to two bannisters that were not as secure as they could be/ nailing a loose piece of wood on stairway….the kicker was Todd searched and searched for the right window turn handles- and HE FOUND THEM!!!! Way to go Todd! Prices were on point! Worth every penny! My dwelling is back to feeling like a home - thanks to all their efforts!!!!! Can’t recommend them enough!!!!!! Hoping to have them back to assist with some interior painting this fall!"

"I can go on and on with great things to say about the owner of â Collazo home improvementsâ Johnny Collazo has been doing work for me fresh out of carpenter school. I took a chance on him and the work has been beyond amazing since. We started small as I was living in an apartment. However we still got creative. I was a bachelor at the time fresh out of college and he brought college home with me. He built me a custom in home pallet bar. It Was the place to be for many years. He had also mounted several tvs for me and completed simple repairs. Now that I am a homeowner the work has tripled and somehow he has always managed to fit me into his schedule and blow us away with the finished result. His flexibility and passion for the work is unmatched. I am forever grateful to have him as a contractor I can call. â No job to big, no job to smallâ Collazo does it all."

"Bob installed pegboard on the interior walls of our shed. He did a wonderful job. Before starting, Bob offered several options on how to install the material, which we then discussed, before agreeing on one. The work was done correctly and efficiently. Bob is a skilled and knowledgeable carpenter and pays attention to details. It was a pleasure to work with Bob and we expect to do so again on future projects."
