"I wanted to share a very positive experience I had with Diane and Carriage House II. I had purchased two bedroom furniture items from West Elm many months prior, and to this day, there was a offensive chemical type smell off-gassing from both items. Seeking solutions, I found Carriage House, and thought it might make sense to inquire into stripping the furniture down and removing the lacquer finish on those items, and then have a specialist re-finish them. Diane was super responsive from the minute I emailed her to inquire into what the process would be like to have this done, as well as the associated cost. Being the honest businesswoman as Diane is, she called me up right away and walked me through the process, though her suggestion is that I not go through with the re-finishing as the cost to do so, would have been higher than the original cost of the items. I was disappointed to hear that the cost was prohibitively high, but I found it incredibly refreshing that Diane was so honest about it all. I ended up trying to make a claim with my credit card company to try and recoup the original purchase cost, and through that process, Diane was also very helpful and mentioned she was willing to write a letter in support of my claim if I ultimately needed that. At the end of the day, I didn't work with Diane to re-finish my furniture items, but I felt compelled to leave this review for Diane for her professionalism and responsiveness."

However, their service was fantastic and they are well deserving of a review. Calco completed our kitchen renovation which included new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and the installation of new appliances. Our overall experience was very positive. The quality of work and attention to detail that Jerod and Mike provided while on site was superior. They were incredibly friendly and respectful of our home. "If you're looking for the cheapest option, Lux isn't for you. You're paying for quality, workmanship, speed, and professionalism. I hired Lux to renovate an unfinished basement space (one main room, one large storage / utilities area, and a laundry space. They gave me a time estimate to start, and actually were able to come in early. The folks who did the job were polite, amazing at their work, and I think my dogs fell in love with them. They were finished MUCH faster than I expected. They handled all the inspections, electrical, carpeting...it was so easy for me. I can't recommend Lux (and Tim!) enough."

"We hired Plymouth Meeting Nursery to completely transform the exterior landscape of our 100+ year-old home, where we live with our three young children and our ever-faithful golden retriever. As a licensed landscape architect, we approached this project with high standards and were looking for a contractor who offered fair, transparent pricing, excellent craftsmanship, and timely execution. Plymouth Meeting Nursery delivered on all counts. The scope of work was extensive and included the demolition of all existing landscaping, a deck, concrete walkways, fencing, and excess soil.
