Dehumidifiers going 24/7 for 96 hours and then fans for five days. And they kept the house amazingly clean during its operations. I am totally impressed by the teams' skills and courtesies. Then Jacob, the assessor of how much the costs would come to for insurance purposes has so much experience in the industry from actually laying tile down early in his career, to knowing the inside and outs of the industry. "We used A1 exterminators for several years. In the beginning we used them to change the dehumidifier filters. We started using them because the previous owners had used them to redo the crawl space and install a the humidifier. At some point we also started using them for pest control. We did their Guardian Plan from beginning. The guys they sent over were nice and courteous and always helpful. We were pleased with service until we were selling our home and records of services provided were requested and they refused to give them. We were needing information on if they had caulked some cracks in the foundation when they sealed everything when the dehumidifier was installed. I even had the previous owner call and give them permission to release this information. They accused me of trying to get information out of them that didn't belong to me. Funny thing is, there were absolutely no issues, but they were immediately defensive and accusing me of being in a bad place with our buyers. She talked over me to the point and was so rude, I told her to shut up. That was the end of anything I ever wanted to do with them. Had the owner of this company not been the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life, I may have left them a good rating. Based on how she treats a customer of 4 or 5 years, I could never recommend them to anyone. Read their reviews yourself. Their bad customer service speaks for itself. When I mentioned this company to the buyers real estate agent, he confirmed that they weren't reputable as did the escrow company that did our closing."

They were timely in their response, worked with my schedule, were very thorough and professional, and worked diligently and efficiently while on site. I appreciated their heads-up phone calls when they were on their way to my home and their clear explanation of exactly what they were going to do. They checked on their drying equipment daily until it was complete. They cleaned up after themselves, leaving me in a position where my contractor could now begin the repairs. "I contacted Mr. Hipp via Angie's List after reading the reviews about his company and the work they have completed for other customers.  He was very prompt in responding to my initial request -- stated he would go by my home and look at the brick steps to my home that had been terribly "repaired" by a contractor.  After several days (he told me he couldn't get out to my house for a few days due to his schedule), he went by and then gave me a quote for the work.  We agreed on the final price and he began and completed the work in two days.  I was really impressed with the communication --- his son coming by after the first day of the work and explaining what work had been done and what would happen the next day.  Mr. Hipp came by this morning to meet with me and to ensure that I was completely happy with the work done.  YES -- the steps look great!!!!  I must say that my front steps and stoop are large and the price may seem high but is reasonable for the size of the project.  I highly recommend Hipp Masonry and will use them in the spring when I have some other work that needs to be done on my home.
