"I found a surprise abandoned UST when excavating my front yard for a carport. After spending weeks online researching, reading horror stories, and becoming more panicked and confused I narrowed prospective candidates down to 4 companies and began the vetting process. She answered all of my preliminary questions, clearing up some fact vs. fiction I had read online, and had a confidence in her manner was very reassuring. Maria, Shelly, Dominique and Sal were very responsive in answering all of my questions and explaining the process in detail. They returned my calls right away and always exhibited patience and a bit of much-appreciated stress-relieving humor. Sal was on-site at 8am with his crew - all very professional, respectful, hard working guys - and they quickly got the tank pulled from my extremely tight space without damaging anything (retaining wall and paved walkway). My neighbors even commented on how clean and efficient they were. This is a family-owned business and you get the feeling they really like working together and enjoy what they do. Sal's phone never stopped ringing and I can see why. Each person involved with the business is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and professional. I had encountered so much conflicting information online and from the different companies I spoke with that I was braced for the process to be a nightmare. Thanks to Sal and Company I was wrong! "Had the opportunity to experience Lilco's work on several projects. These guys always had a professional attitude and took the time for all preparations and quality control. They did not leave a mess or unwarranted damages like so many fly-by-night contractors tend to do. They even magnet swept driveways for screws/nails whenever they finished loading out for the night. "A simple drain pipe replacement under a bathroom floor turned into a replacement of three lengths of drain pipe. In addition, when the finish up work in the basement was done, the waste lines going into that pipe were reconfigured so the washing machine and utility sink now drain directly into the pipe. Which let us take out the sump pump. Then, the plan to fit a pvc shield around the sewer pipe to the town sewer turned into a major excavation of a trench through an eight foot bed of shale because the incoming water line is 1/4 inch from the outgoing sewer line. And had a hole in it so it had to be replaced after all. The crew did a great job, they were pleasant throughout and I would recommend them to anyone."

"Sterlington Environmental removed my "ready to leak" 60 year old in-basement oil tank and replaced it with a clean, modern Roth tank in about half a day. This is an inherently messy job and they did it quickly and efficiently while paying attention to the rest of my home. The entrance to my basement is through the house and they laid down protective materials to protect my floors and were very careful not to damage anything or spill oil as they worked and moved materials, tools and supplies in and out of the basement. They also handled all the permitting and inspections. I hope to never have to do this again, but if I do, I will call Sterling to do the job."
