"Wow! Let me start by saying I had several contractors come by to give me estimates on fixing some major concerns I’ve had in my yard for quite a while. I needed a professional who could complete everything I needed at a reasonable price. Well, Mr Julio Escobar (ET General Contractor Inc) was able to accommodate everything I needed done. He listened to everything I needed and provided excellent suggestions as to the right approach to do the job. This entailed re-sloping my backyard to direct water away from my house foundation and installing a drainage system in my backyard. My backyard was a barren wasteland that needed quite a bit of work. I had barely any grass on one side with many trees that I wanted removed in order to get more sunlight and allow grass to grow. Julio’s crew did an amazing job (cut down trees, removed all branch/log debris and grinded/ground the stumps down to the roots). His crew planted 29 Japanese Cedar trees along my fence line. My appreciation goes out to Julio Escobar for working with the nursery to get me all Japanese Cedars instead of the Leyland Cypress trees. Exactly what I wanted all along. God Bless you! He and his crew trucked in tons of river rock to lay around my pool and along the foundation in the back of the house and then laid, I forget how many, rolls of sod. These guys worked hard and in the worst heat of the summer. Lastly, but definitely not least he and his crew brought in clean topsoil and organic compost, grass seed, and fertilizer to cover my front yard (that also was a wasteland). After that he aerated the area and laid sod on the sides of my driveway so that there would be no run off when it rained. I can’t express enough how professional, courteous, and attentive Mr Escobar and his entire crew were throughout the entire job. I would definitely use them again for future projects. "There was some confusion with respect to the address where the repair work was to be completed. As a result, the excavating team arrived at my primary residence well ahead of the scheduled time, and Miss Utility had marked out my property by mistake. I contacted Rachel at DB's to let them know there was a problem, and that hopefully they would still be able to complete the work at the correct address that day. Within 35 to 40 minutes, the problem had been resolved and the crew was on-site at the rental property and starting the work. Thankfully, the pipe was not quite as deep as previously thought so excavation was much easier and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. DB's reduced the cost for the work from the original estimate as some of the issues they had estimated and planned for did not materialize. Shane and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable, and they left the yard in excellent condition where the excavation had been done. While their price was a bit higher than I had expected, their responsiveness and professionalism were much appreciated and I would consider using them again for my plumbing needs."

"We had some flooding in our basement this summer/fall due to problems with inadequate drainage in our backyard, including under our deck. Troy gave us an excellent analysis of how to address the problem in the most efficient way. They dug a French Drain system to capture the water from the hill in the backyard that slopes towards the house as well as tying in 2 house downspouts. All of the water is now channeled underground away from the house foundation, which exits from a pop-up drain into a swale. The excavated soil was installed and compacted under the deck and around the house foundation and sloped to prevent water from reaching the house. He also connected us with his deck sub-contractor to remove the deck boards (necessary for the work) and then replace them afterwards. All the work was scheduled and completed in timely and excellent fashion and Troy was great to work with. I would strongly recommend them for any type of landscaping work to address drainage issues."

"The problems were strange and required some investigation. The team first focused on the washer drainage. Eventually they used a camera inserted into the clearance pipe to check the drainage pipe from the house to the septic tank. They discovered a "dip" in the pipe, possibly resulting in an obstruction that might have caused the water to back up, kind of like a rock in a stream. (Admittedly, I may not describe this as clearly as I should...not a plumber!). Using shovels and an excavator, they dug about 5 feet into the ground between the house and the septic tank, ultimately discovering both the dip/weakening in the pipe and a 3" crack (almost half of the pipe) closer to the house. I feel like their work saved us much more money down the road, because without investigating/fixing the "dip" in the pipe, we would never have know about that crack. Without repair, it could would likely have begun leaking back into the foundation. The team was able to replace a 10' section of pipe, connect it to the septic, and confirm a steady drain of water. We have not had the backup or any drainage issues since. However, the smell didn't completely leave the laundry room. They came out again and, after a couple of smoke tests and cuts into the drywall, discovered a vent pipe that had in years past (we've owned the house for 5 years) simply been cut to move the washing machine hookups to the side wall (rather than the back). Although the smoke largely discharged through the roof vents as designed, this uncapped vent allowed septic odors to creep back into the washing room, particularly in the morning when the air outside was heavier. They were able to cap the pipe, and that removed the odor. We have not had any issues since they completed their work. The team was very responsive, and worked with me to reschedule the washing room work after a death in one of the worker's family...only slipped a single day. They also reduced the cost for disconnecting/moving the washer and dryer, since they didn't reconnect them (We were of course going to have to do get drywall repair/paint work after they finished). Although I am hoping to avoid any plumber issues for a while, I know who I will call if something comes up. Absolutely recommend this team."

"We had gutted our master bath and asked Jonathan to refit the tub for a shower and move plumbing for a new sink. He checked out what was already installed, made corrections and completed all the work we required. He took time to explain what he was doing and why. We were EXTREMELY pleased and have recommended him to all our friends. We will require his services again in the very near future and have no reason not to expect the same pleasant experience."

"They came to do the estimate the next day after I made contact with them.  So a price was reached and they started work about a week and a half later (the delay was due to rain and other commitments). They began on a Tuesday and finished the following Tuesday - and that week included at least two rain days.
They arrived promptly when they said they would and went immediately to work.  Demolishing the existing patio was a lot of work but the job, including clean-up and haul away, was completed that first day.  On the second day they came and dug out the mud pit at the end of the driveway in preparation for pouring cement.  On Sunday they arrived and finished excavating both areas and building forms for the cement.  On Monday morning, VRN and the cement truck arrived and both areas were poured and finished.  On the following Tuesday, VRN arrived to remove the forms and haul away the last of the dirt and cement debris.  
I would like to note that the old patio included a walkway that extended from it to the back porch.  As the patio sunk, so too did this walkway.  When VRN was scoping out the job, the representative I spoke with said that the entire walkway did not have to be removed, but instead only half taken, and when the new patio and half walkway were poured, the walkway area could be used to transition the areas by blending the pitch and grade of the new area with the pitch and grade of the old, so that there were no trip-spots or odd looking areas.  After the pour and finishing, the genius of that transition was evident.  I have a smooth, continuous walkway now, something I thought I'd have to sacrifice unless I agreed to demolish the entire walkway.
All together, this was a very professional job, done well.  I commend VRN for their diligence and care in completing this job.  I now have a properly graded patio and the mud pit at the end of the driveway is gone.  I am very happy with their work.  An excellent job well done!
