He made the recommendation of another builder that was closer in the area to rip out the carpet and reconstruct the stairs- who was also excellent- and coordinated with him to come back and sand and finish the stairs. He matched the existing oak flooring in the house. There was also a small spot on our hardwood flooring where the stain had been worn off. His guy matched the stain perfectly and patched that area without us having to redo all of the other flooring. They showed up on time and was courteous and clean.
