They offered a reasonable solution (sealing the visible cracks and holes in the concrete and I was contacted within a couple of days with an estimate and scheduling options. Sean was our tech and he did a fantastic job diagnosing the issue beyond just the cracks. He not only address all the holes and cracks in the concrete and mortar, he sealed up additional entry points above the foundation. He sourced additional materials to cover openings for cable lines. He went above and beyond and gave us measured information on how we should continue to monitor and treat this area as the house settles. He was thorough, informative, and provided excellent service in his work. I'm very glad that Sean was the technician sent to us and I would specifically request him for your projects."

"Howard Glancy came to inspect cracks in my home's concrete walls where the foundation was sinking. He, as a Certified Field Inspector, went over the whole house with me, explaining why the walls were cracking, and what should be done to alleviate the problem. Howard explained what JES Foundation would do, approximately how long it would take, and provided a quotation for the repairs. Besides raising the problem walls and ensuring they would be structural sound and guaranteed to stay that way for the remaining life of the house, he also advised me of how JES would repair minor cracks in the remaining building as well as having s sump pump installed to wick away any ground water from damaging any other parts of the structure. Mr. Glancy was very courteous; knowledgeable of his profession; and walked us through any questions we might have had concerning the processes. Due to the permit process taking so long, the work on the house won't start for a few months, and if Mr. Glancy is any indication of the professionalism of the rest of the JES Foundation personnel, I'm confident that the work will be done properly, in a timely manner and to my complete satisfaction."

"We have a finished basement and a crawl space in the storage area of our basement.  We have found after large rain storms recently water has been increasing in our crawl space. After one storm we found over 6 inches of water above the gravel in the crawl space and purchased a temporary pump to pump out the water, discarded the plastic vapor barrier with concern of mold growing on it and began to see seepage through the foundation wall to the basement. 
In order to find a solution we scheduled four appointments with Angie's list highly regarded basement waterproofing contractors.  We were surprised to find that each contractor provided different solutions ranging in cost from $13,814 to $1,950.  We were impressed with Mr. Norfolk's honesty and straight forward approach.  He noted that he could do some of the solutions provided by other contractors with piping systems to a sump pump but suggested to start with a more cost effective solution of just adding a sump pump to the crawl area and replacing the current basement sump pump that was 27 years old.  If additional solutions were needed in the future he could preform them but why spend the extra money at this time if not necessary. The work was performed on February 1st and took two workman 3.5 hours to complete.  The workman explained how the system worked and asked that we please follow up if we had any questions.  The only area I could see improvement was clean up as after they cleaned up I had to again sweep the work area and vacum the carpets covered by their drop cloths. There was also debris and concrete mix left on the driveway.

"Greentree were phenomenal. I got an email back from them in like five minutes after I purchased it, it was like instant and we have huge oak trees, these things are monsters, our whole city's filled with these massive 90-feet lowest branch type thing. I told her we would take for the $400, whatever they could do to clean up these trees as best they could but I'd be interested in what else they would recommend and how much the whole day would be. They came out the very next day and I had the most easy to understand proposal. We searched other companies with Angie's List and one of them came over and did the thing for us, they left me a proposal that was 15 pages long and the only information about what they would do was a tiny paragraph using words that only an expert would understand, it was just atrocious. Greentree gave us a really incredible deal. I was very impressed and they deducted $400 from the final price that I got with you. They spent all afternoon, there were four of them, they did the most amazing job on these trees. Our trees look beautiful. They cut the good oak into fireplace size and stacked it for me. When they cleaned the backyard, they left it nicer than when they arrived, they even raked up the extra leave and they weren't responsible for it. They cleaned the whole place. Those four fellows are the most hilarious guys. They obviously enjoy working with each other, there is no doubt and watching them, they were extremely safe because some of the branches they had to bring down were like 90-feet high and it was either hanging into our house or a neighbor's house or our brand new fence. I'm going to have them come back next year and give our trees a yearly check-up. I really like the company so I'm grateful that Angie's List sent that little email out. I never would have known they were around. Compared to some other companies, I have checked on my own, this was a really good price, theirs was absolutely the best price. They were the first company that I was pleased with. They're the best. They were the best-priced and it was a whole lot cheaper than expected even without the discount, it was an excellent price; very reasonable. They arrived right on time. They called to follow-up on us, I was very impressed with that. They're now our permanent tree company."

"I have a 28 year old asphalt driveway that needed to be resurfaced. He was prompt providing a quote at a fair price compared to three others. His crew did one day of prep work consisting of digging out crumbled/cracked areas and edging the entire 300' driveway. The next day they applied 2" of asphalt and did a perfect job with great attention to detail. Then they cleaned up the whole area and it looks great.
