"Alfredo and crew did a ton of back-breaking work, the area didn’t allow lots of machine use, just sweat and labor. And, they were not afraid. (Previous bids/interviews wouldn’t touch it because of the need of hand labor) The crew understood what needed to be done and did not hesitate. Sometimes, a job needs hands on instead on reliance on mechanical assistance. His estimate was very reasonable versus large operation quick fix. If you’re looking for a good homeowner /contractor relationship, this is the answer. Wait times are minimal and work done quickly. My project was straight forward and he was able to successfully complete it a couple days. Don’t expect high pressure sales, just straight forward plan. My past experience with other concrete contractors was very disappointing. If you have a special project or even something straight forward, Alfredo’s company should be your first call. "Rob Dunham came out and did the estimate. He was very good to work
with and did and excellent job of explaining the work that was needed and
provided a couple of options. The crew he sent out was right on time and
finished when they said they would. They did a great job and cleaned up behind
themselves. The crew worked very hard. They had to jackhammer up a section 40
feet long and 18 inches wide. All material removed and all new material (rock
and cement) was moved 2 5 gallon buckets at a time up a flight of stairs. We
have had any more water problems in our basement since they completed the work.

After getting numerous estimates, I moved ahead with the work with All-Star Basements. Not only did they give me a great price, but they did not try to sell me many extra things I did not need. They put a waterproofing system in 3/4 of my basement and a sealed sump system that is quiet and working great! I have not had any water all summer and am very happy! Although the job itself was somewhat messy, they cleaned up very well and made sure I was happy and satisfied before they left. I was recommended them by a friend who has been a realtor for many years and he was right... great company and I have a dry basement now! My dehumidifier I had always run before now runs much less and has no problem keeping up when it does run.
