"Well, let me just say that John and his team absolutely exceeded my expectations - and I paid less for the project than I thought I would. I don't know how you could ask for better than that. When I asked for a roof to be built over my back deck, I was envisioning just a rough wooden roof. But they made it look like an extension of my house! It is beautiful - not rough at all. They put a metal wrap over the wooden beams - and soffit and fascia that matched my exterior perfectly. I wasn't expecting this and it blew me away. And they did it all for what they quoted me. And each member of the team has a specialty. Charlie the carpenter has the roof up in no time, Tom the painter did a beautiful job, and John, the owner, is more like an artist than a builder, and of course Maddie (the real boss). "First I had a bathroom issue from a water problem.  Gary's estimate made the most sense to me and he took extra time to explain what needed to be done.  I had an idea of what I wanted and he took it from there.  We needed to reroute the plumbing to an inside wall. He explained it all to me in a way I understood and did a great job! He also installed the new dry wall ceiling in the bathroom below.  I managed to segue him into the kitchen! My 1965 kitchen was in dire need of a makeover.  He turned it into a 2014 kitchen.  The first day demo was so quick and efficient, I was in shock!  I told Gary what I wanted and he helped me make decisions along the way. I had no experience with new construction and had no idea what to expect. Gary showed me my options and explained how he was going to make my decisions happen.  He built the countertop himself including trim, installed a LOT of cabinets, installed appliances (rerouted plumbing for the refrigerator), rerouted electrical to move old wiring and lighting placement with new placement and lighting fixtures. He worked the plumbing for a new disposal and replaced all the outlets and switches.  He installed all the flooring and was VERY knowledgeable in helping me pick the flooring for my needs. He has great taste in colors too. :-)  I asked his advice on different issues and he was more than willing to help me.  He was patient and understanding.  So in all, Gary can and did do it all.  
My kitchen looks incredible!  He was super nice to my dog Jim who I think will miss him more than I will. :-) I have many other jobs in this house and will call Gary first. He is my "go to" guy and look forward to working with him in the future.

He was fast, efficient, and has an amazing eye for detail.
Ours was a large project but he kept control of all facets of construction and finished on time. We found Mr.Holbert to very pleasant and trustworthy, and anyone would do well to place their project in his Company's very capable hands.

"We have received exceptional service from Joe Carifa and his team. We had to start from scratch by updating the electric, plumbing, framing walls and new flooring. It was a huge job and Carifa Design take care of the details and made the breath and scope so much more manageable for us. One outstanding thing was that they were efficiency and clean, we never came home to a mess. They took care of details and clean up after themselves every single day on the job. It made such a significant difference when living and working around a renovation project. Also, we feel his team were honest, trustworthy, and consistent. The schedule was not grossly far off from the predicted time and the final cost was pretty close to estimated budget. We were thoroughly pleased with Joe and his team and would highly recommend."

They worked with my budget and helped me figure out how to cut costs if needed.They worked very fast but more importantly the work they did was exceptional. I wouldn't hire anyone else besides A&J. Very professional, half the costs as other contractors that gave me bids.
