"I used a coupon provided by Angie's list and prepaid the initial work to replace the springs.  The first thing the technician did upon arriving was the 23 Point Safety Inspection that was included in the work purchased.  He recommended additional work that could be done and the benefits they would provide.  We decided to have the wheel rollers replaced and were quoted a price. The technician did quality work and completed it quickly.  The garage door is working again and is much quieter than before the springs and wheel rollers were replaced.

When we received the bill for the extra work it was a little higher than expected.  A quick call to customer service revealed what had happened and they immediately credited back the difference.  I was pleased with how they handled this.

"Mike came out to give us an estimate on the painting and repairs we needed and graciously came out a second time to review the estimate with my husband to answer his questions and make a few changes in the proposed work. Silver Oaks called to follow-up about our decision which meant a lot to me as they were the only company to do so. That told me that they really wanted the job. After they were hired they came on the dates they said they would and carried out all the work that was planned in an efficient and timely manner. The crew who worked at our house were polite and very accommodating. Jim reviewed the scope of the contract with me on the first day and went over what work would be done each day and what time they would arrive. On the second day they were delayed but Jim called me and let me know about the delay and they arrived when he said they would. The crew was gracious whenever I pointed out something that might have been overlooked, for instance they initially painted over some outdoor hooks rather than removing them and filling in the holes, they were very obliging and immediately made corrections. Everyone on the crew was friendly and courteous and the cleanup after the job was done was complete. My husband came home, walked around the house and said "wow, they did a really good job". We were very pleased with the final results and they offered a 5% discount for cash payment which made their price very competitive. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and his crew!
