At the same time, he alerted me to possible complications that could arise with my very old and corroded drain pipes, of which I was aware. After repairing the clog issue, there was a tiny leak that appeared at the connection of where a remaining segment of old pipe led into the verticle drain pipe. He explained three possible ways to approach that repair and the possible risks of each. We agreed on a preferred approach.
