Get matched with top plumbers in San Mateo, CA

"I had a leaky gas shut- off valve on the gas line to my fireplace . After getting a few estimates, where people were asking $90 for coming over and giving an estimate, I was fortunate to find Facilities Plumbing and talked to Robert, who agreed to come over and provide a free estimate. He arrived at the appointed time and put on shoe covers before entering the house. Since the valve is located behind the drywall, he explained that he would have to cut the drywall in order to access and look at the valve. He gave an estimate for this part. After cutting open the drywall, he tested the valve for the leak and showed me the leak. This valve is situated such that it would have taken a whole day to replace it and would have involved cutting more drywall and 4x2s. Robert suggested that he can try to fix the valve to which I gladly agreed. He did, and fixed the valve and made sure there was no more leak. The whole job took a little over an hour and I ended up saving lot of money and headache. In addition, the job is guaranteed for 4 years which is way more than industry average. I am so glad I found Facilities Plumbing. I would hire them for all my future plumbing work. Robert is very friendly, pleasant and competent plumber. I wholeheartedly recommend him."

"First of all I would like to point out the high level of professionalism: communication is excellent, Cornelio and his brother Edson were always on time, responding very promptly to any questions I had. The paper work, estimates are very straight forward. I needed the TOTO washlet to be installed in the bathroom, so I needed plumbing and electrical services. I am so impressed with the quality of their work! They work fast, keeping the area very clean. Cornelio and Edson is a great team and it was a pleasure to work with them. I would highly recommend their business and will be referring them to my friends. And I already hired them for the next plumbing project."

"We feel very lucky to have found Francisco. He was incredibly helpful with our initial call and while quoting for us, personable, knowledgeable, and beyond patient with our many questions (even though it was all after hours). His price was the best one of the 4 that we had quote and yet there was nothing "budget" about the project or his service. A quality water heater and a job very well done. He has the years of experience needed to do great work. In addition, he has excellent communication (keeping us updated and informed) and is punctual and professional. Really, everything you hope for when seeking out a plumber or any contractor. We have zero complaints and only praise, very affordable, and have already shared his contact info with family members because we are just that enthusiastic. Sure, they may not need plumbing NOW, but they will some day. Two thumbs WAY up."

"As a property manager I have doubt was many plumbing companies and I can say I can count on Jess plumbing. He is efficient, reliable and always has fair prices. You can count on him not to overprice because he's honest and knows what he's doing."

"I use Counsil for the quality of their work and trust them to do it to highest city inspection standards. I had to do two replacement sewer lines. Counsil plumbing did the digging, plumbing and cement work with same people; the other contractor did plumbing, subcontracted sleeving sewer line and subcontracted concrete work. Counsil left the house as he found it. The other contractor left trash, rebar and wood and never came back. Counsil used a price master and a detailed contract, the other contractor gave me verbal price which became opaque. I use Counsil when i need quality work that meets inspection specifications and am willing to pay for it."

"Polite, well trained plumber who solved our repair problem. More parts needed and he went out to purchase so the job could be completed that day."

"Went above and beyond with my new kitchen sink installation. Francisco found some issues with the previous installation (done by a family friend, not a pro) and was very honest with his recommendations/prices and fixed the issues properly. The new sink looks great, lingering issues are finally fixed and best of all, the wife is very happy."

"I had water damage to the ceiling of my garage. Vicente provided evaluation and written estimate in one visit with attention to details and my customer satisfaction. He took the time to verify my plumbing problem by video taping my water leakage of my bathtub drain pipe with his phone through the broken spaces in the ceiling. He returned the next day with Eduardo, assistant, to complete repair with pipe replacement of old bathtub drain pipes. I was impressed with Vicente's respectful, honest, confident, and professional demeanor with attention to customer satisfaction and service. Vicente exceeded my expectations with exemplary work. Bonus: I discovered afterward that Vicente had fixed my slow flowing sink faucet next to bathtub without request or charge. I would request Vicente again for all my plumbing needs in future. Thank you Vicente. You are special!"

"Angel was highly professional and did the job well and efficiently. He is patient, fair and knowledgeable. The new faucet is working perfect. He also figured out why the dishwasher had suddenly stopped working, fixed it right away. I’d recommend him to anyone and will be using his services again if needed."

"Very quick response when I called them and did an excellent job clearing my blocked down spout drain. I highly recommend them."
