Pro tips 1) ask what the added charges will be 2) uncover the tanks yourself 3) spray down the solids tank (hose water) and 4) clean your own filter before contractors arrive, save yourself $345."

"This was the first time I used Home Advisor to locate a service person to cut down my dead 75ft Aleppo Pine in the backyard of my midtown rental house. I had a couple of $1200 bids from other services. One of those OTHER guys even called to tell me NOT to hire the other one because he was a heavy drinker and I "would be sorry". (This was so creepy on so many levels I'm not sure where to start!) When the B&F Landscaping bid came back at $450, I decided to give them a try. Besides the low price, the one thing that really impressed me was how well Brandon listened to and honored my requests. He was prompt in contacting me after I gave him (via email) the physical address and asked that he drive by to see the job before giving a price. I was able to call and leave a voicemail giving a detailed list of what I needed done and when he returned the call, he left a detailed voice message (as I had asked him to do) and addressed all of my questions with clear, concise answers to every one! After the job was completed, I called him and was able to use my Amex card to pay him over the phone and get an invoice/receipt for my taxes! My tenants also reported how nice, prompt and professional they were at the actual job site. I have another rental w/a picky HOA (a 1 inch weed gets a $45 fine! Geez.) and I'm hoping I can hire B and F Landscaping to do a quick upkeep service 2 x a month at that property. (I am not sure they offer this service but I sure hope so!) I wish all the service people I need to hire were as conscientious, courteous, thorough and well-priced as B and F Landscaping. I do most of my own home-owning work but this tree was way too big for any of the tools I own. B and F to the rescue! (And no, I'm not related to anyone who works there!)"

They charged me $600 for it and I thought that was outrageous. Actually I think they were pushy. Instead of fixing something they wanted to replace everything. Even with the leak in the mobile home. They told me I needed all of the piping in the unit replaced. They did the same thing in the underground. I think it could have been repaired and not replaced. I imagine the work they did is good, but I think they are overrated pricewise. They even put another unit in just a foot from my meter and I did not think that was necessary. They wanted to charge me $500 for a temporary water supply which was not necessary either. I just thought they were looking for something to add the dollars on.  They showed me the piping they were putting in and it was flexible. I have never seen anything like that for a water line. I hope it works well and lasts a long time. I had to complain and have them come back and replace some block they had moved when doing the work. They did not put it back the first time. They were quick on the job. They were pretty punctual. They were very professional, I think, but they were too ready to replace everything instead of fixing.
