"Casey Bohn (Elite Septic) did an excellent job pumping out our septic tank and was very courteous and considerate in maintaining the appearance of our yard and driveway. I would highly recommend him for any septic tank service! The price was very good compared to other septic tank companies. Casey was punctual and kept his word in providing the inspection report the same day. Outstanding job!"

"They were VERY quick to respond and fit our job into their already packed schedule. Septic tank troubles are never fun but it was a relatively painless process to get them out here and get the tank pumped out. They also helped us identify a running water problem which is most likely an inexpensive fix with a couple of the toilet tank parts."

"There was a prompt response to my call. He was most courteous with his introduction, which seems to be a dying art these days. These guys travel quite a distance to get here. He was in the process of lining up another customer so we worked on the schedule that gave me an estimated time of arrival. On the day of service, he ran into a delay. He did the right thing , he made a call. Polite as well , a refreshing change! On arrival able to locate the septic tank, no problem. He gave me an assessment and gave me options.. There were plugs in 2 areas .The filter needed to be cleaned out and flow valve need to be jetted or it would’ve backed up into my house. I ended up spending more money than I planned but I have peace of mind. I know that I won’t be leaving anything behind , any problem for someone else to handle .It will pass inspection and I don’t have to worry about holding up a contract or blowing a contract. A1 septic lived up to there name. They are #1@#2 Blessings"

"Had leak from septic tank area. Rays responded very quickly (out that day) and were courteous and knowledgeable and for that I would rate them very high. I also would rate them as very expensive. Turns out the issue was not the tank but the PVC septic line broke coming from the house to the tank. Tank looked great and had been pumped less than 2 years ago which was why I was surprised to see the leak. No tank pumping or drain line cleaning involved but as it was a 30 year old tank, they did recommend also replacing the old degrading (but still functioning for now) cement baffles in and out. These are replaced with about $85 PVC fittings retail, $100 to be generous for having them right there. I grew up doing minor plumbing and have done my own repairs on broken outdoor PVC water lines at this very house. Literally digging them up by hand and repairing so I know the work involved and understand the dirty part of septic work. My estimate was the additional pipe and fitting to be replaced was about $100 dollars too so $300 cost in actual materials. Two men were there for 2 hours finding and fixing the issue. I also understand overhead so $150 per hour per man for $600 plus the small backhoe for $300 per hour or another $600. That put me thinking around $1600 so anything less than $2000, I would have thought reasonable given the speed and knowledgeable work. The actual cost was nearly $2500. Its not like once they are out there with the hole opened up to find the issue that you have a lot of options to not get the work done. When I commented I thought that was really high, it was implied that was what anyone would charge. I could have not done the two baffles but to have them done separately due to man power and getting someone out, it would have then cost the same even if the actual baffle price was less because you have to someone out to do it alone. In the end, while I give Rays high marks for timeliness, skill, and knowledge, I felt I paid over and above for the service. Sometimes you have to do that to get something done when as in this case I did not know what the issue was to price it in advance, but it did make me feel the price was excessively high because once they had to dig up the tank to assess the problem, then I was a forced to pay whatever they estimated. Would call them in a emergency but I do not think I would make them my regular service without seriously vetting price."

"Communication - Excellent! Matthew was prompt and courteous in staying in touch regarding appointment time and arrival time. Price - Competitive and transparent. I asked for an "on the rim out the door" price with no last minute pitches for things that should be part of the service. Price was as quoted to pump, clean filter and inspect. I did opt for a bacterial additive that I was NOT pressured into purchasing. I just figured if it made any difference in keeping the drain field from having issues it was well worth it. Included three-year monthly additive supply. Quality of Work - extra careful to check for water line into the house, thorough in the pump out and carefully replaced the dirt and raked the area. Of course, I will need sod but that just goes with having a septic system pumped regardless of who does it. Friendliness - everyone in the crew was friendly and courteous, like they were your neighbor."

"I have had several companies service my septic tanks over the years (because several have gone out of business...) but I was very pleased to connect with Bowen's Septic Service. From the time I made my appointment, to scheduling, arrival, assessment, digging, pumping, clean up and departure I found Bowen to be the most professional company I have used to date. Daniel was terrific and was an honest professional who gave good advice on must-do's versus nice-to-have's. I found pricing to be fair given the larger tank size that we have and I appreciated the professionalism from end-to-end. It is refreshing to get a company that is so experienced and gets the job done with no gotchas or games along the way. I will definitely use them again. Thank you!"

"They were terrific from the 1st call to completed installation....all within four hours on a holiday weekend!!! . While we were initially interested in a tankless system, we changed our minds and selected a traditional water heater. Some of our pipes were out of code, so it cost a bit more to correct, but certainly the explanation and the value given were very fair and reasonable. Thanks Matthew and Gary!!"
