Someone actually answered the phone and got me a soon appointment for the work to be done. When the serviceman came, I had no clue where the septic tank was. He showed me where it was. He also said that the tank only needed to be emptied every 3 years, instead of what another company had told my husband - every year. I thanked him for his honesty and was very pleased with their service. They are honest and hard workers. Would hire them again!!"

"Turkey mound pump failed. We told American Pump we had an emergency situation and they got right on it - onsite within two hours. Fixed the pump, replaced the float, and pumped the septic tank. "I've known Bob Walter, our plumber ever since we bought our summer home in the Pocono mountains, PA, 15 years ago.  We keep using him, because he has always been reliable and efficiently corrects whatever problem we have. Normally, we ask him to help when we close up our Pocono home at the end of December and he evacuates the water from all pipes so we can turn off the heat without experiencing water freezing problems (This past year, neighbors tell us the temperature stayed in single digits for almost two weeks straight)  In the summer, when we escape Florida's heat, he comes over to reconnect the fittings and makes sure everything works right. 
Through the years, he has performed many small repairs as well, as today, when he diagnosed a problem with our garage hose bib, and replaced a broken shutoff valve.

I sent him pictures and just as I thought I needed a new one. He gave me a price with a new heater and installation. He told me that I could go buy one and he would install it to save some money. I estimated what it would cost if I bought it from a home improvement store, paid for delivery and the installation and decided to have Brian do what he does best at a fair price. He even threw in a military discount for me. He was at my home within three hours, drained and removed the old one and installed the new one. Outstanding service, they even cleaned up the mess from the leak of the old one. Very courteous, thorough and overall such a nice young man."
