"This was the first time I used Home Advisor to locate a service person to cut down my dead 75ft Aleppo Pine in the backyard of my midtown rental house. I had a couple of $1200 bids from other services. One of those OTHER guys even called to tell me NOT to hire the other one because he was a heavy drinker and I "would be sorry". (This was so creepy on so many levels I'm not sure where to start!) When the B&F Landscaping bid came back at $450, I decided to give them a try. Besides the low price, the one thing that really impressed me was how well Brandon listened to and honored my requests. He was prompt in contacting me after I gave him (via email) the physical address and asked that he drive by to see the job before giving a price. I was able to call and leave a voicemail giving a detailed list of what I needed done and when he returned the call, he left a detailed voice message (as I had asked him to do) and addressed all of my questions with clear, concise answers to every one! After the job was completed, I called him and was able to use my Amex card to pay him over the phone and get an invoice/receipt for my taxes! My tenants also reported how nice, prompt and professional they were at the actual job site. I have another rental w/a picky HOA (a 1 inch weed gets a $45 fine! Geez.) and I'm hoping I can hire B and F Landscaping to do a quick upkeep service 2 x a month at that property. (I am not sure they offer this service but I sure hope so!) I wish all the service people I need to hire were as conscientious, courteous, thorough and well-priced as B and F Landscaping.
