"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

Due to Covid restraints, it actually took a while for the siding to arrive. David called every week with an update. There was a minor issue with the corner pieces in the chimney. They took care of it immediately. The windows are not only beautiful but energy efficient. AND they were LITERALLY half the price of the next nearest bid I received. "I had previously used Means to paint the outside of my home. I was pleased with that outcome, and they did not disappoint me painting the interior of my home.
They showed up on time all three days. Careful attention was paid to removing belongings, covering and closing off areas so that there was no mess to clean up. They let me know their lunch plans and when they would leave at the end of the day so that we could coordinate our time. The cost was in the middle of other bids I obtained from Angie's List.
Means also went above and beyond the scope of the work. On the last day, several workers finished early and rather than sit around, they repainted some woodwork. They even sealed a squirrel hole outside the home with metal and painted it to match before they finished.

"We had 3 estimates done on replacing the siding on our 2-story chimney. It had been damaged by squirrels who had taken up residence (we had our exterminator come and clear out the nest and patch the holes, but the siding itself was damaged). Robert was the first one to respond, the first one to submit an estimate (it was submitted the day after the request was made...one of the other estimates didn't come in until almost a week later!), and provided us with an estimate that was significantly below the other two that came in.
