"The workers that Dave sent were very friendly and considerate. When they unwrapped the old wood on the columns, they found that there were no posts inside. They had to go and get 6x6 posts and install those. Then they replaced the old wood with pvc materials (my choice) and added trim to the top and bottom of the columns. Then they painted them and they look exactly as I had envisioned - so pretty! They also installed a wrought iron handrail that I had ordered for the steps ."

But a year later during a winter snow storm we had a little water coming in 4 or 5 areas where we had water come in before--and the very reason we had the roof torn off and redone. The owners said it was a "historic" storm and we'd probably never see it happen again. The next winter during another storm we had water coming in the same areas. The owner promised to come out and inspect. He never came. This past winter we again had water coming in the same areas. Now, unfortunately, all the phone numbers we had for A-One are disconnected. So, despite the high rating from Angie's List at the time and a five year warranty on the workmanship, we're stuck."
