"I purchased a home in Cedar Park and needed a new water heater and other small plumbing repairs done. I saw Daniel's Plumbing advertisement on HomeAdvisor, so I decided to call him. I'm so glad I did! Daniel is very knowledgeable, professional, and a genuinely nice guy. His work is A+ and the price for the work done is very fair. I highly recommend Daniel's Plumbing, LLC for all your plumbing needs!"

"Working with John, Evan and Travis was a great experience. By far, Hill Country Tub and Shower has been the most professional, courteous and dependable contractor my husband and I have ever dealt with. We are very pleased with the results of our 2 bathrooms. When we asked them to come back to tweak a couple of things, they responded the same day and quickly took care of it. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them a gif the need arises."

"Stamport Plumbing came and helped us when a gas smell was coming from behind the stove. They came out and assessed the situation, let us know what was going on and made the home safe for our renters. We are grateful for them."

"I had a conversion, tub to walk in shower, and I am 100% happy. My sales rep Aaron was not pushy, he was very informative and willing to explain everything and willing to answer all of my questions. My demo tech, a different guy also named Aaron was wonderful. He was very professional, polite, reviewed the plan and the explained the stages. He laid down drop cloths from my front door to the bathroom, he kept the door closed to contain most of the dust in the bathroom. He carried all of the debris out to his work van. When he finished he showed me what was done and explained what would happen the next day. The next morning Javi and Steven arrived and introduced themselves and explained what their plan was. Again professional guys and very personable. I have had other contractors on other jobs who could not carry a conversation and avoided eye contact and talking, not any of the West Shore guys, they were very pleasant and I was completely comfortable with them in my home. Javi and Steven got to work after the inspector stopped by and gave them the ok. They were focused on their work and I was able to work from home and had several video calls with no interruptions. When they were done they reviewed their work with me and I signed off on the job. They had also laid down the drop cloths and they cleared everything and left my home clean with a beautiful new walk in shower. I am definitely a satisfied customer!"

"This business came out, analyzed what my problem really was and recommended I use an A/C company to resolve it. He was very professional and thorough in his review of the problem. I plan to use him again when other plumbing issues come up. He did all of this as part of providing me with a free estimate of the cost of repairs."

"We are the 2nd owners of residence and did not know where septic tank was. He quickly located it and had the two cement caps off quickly. Checked for any damage as tank installed in 1990. Pumped out the septic did inspection and after cleaning septic , neatly covered the area after we marked it. He then doubled checked to see if we had a second tank on property . Courteous professional and answered all my questions completely. Would recommend him over the big pricey companies that did not want to even come out if I did not know where my tank was That one bad review is strange as I am a woman and the company is insured for damages Nothing but fantastic service 5 stars

"It was incredibly difficult finding a company to fix our shower. Some mysterious leak was rotting away the baseboards and drywall in the master bath, and had seeped through the walls into other rooms. After a month of getting nowhere, I found OnCall and scheduled a consultation. Beau came out first to do the estimate: he was on time and knowledgeable about likely causes for the issue. He returned the estimate to me via email within a day or so and called to make sure I received it. After not hearing back from people and having to chase down other estimates, this was nice. I had given him a hopeful budget for the entire project and he came back slightly under, which was even nicer. We set a start date for about a week later.
A few unanticipated issues came up when tearing into the walls the first day but they were dealt with and I was kept informed as things unfolded. Everything was done in phases - demo and airing out the water damaged areas, then replacing plumbing, drywall, sheet rock, tile, and so on. Julie in the office was amazing and called me just about every day to let me know what the next phase was, check my schedule to make sure I knew when people would be in my house, and let me know any additional costs for things that popped up. When they found an additional leak in the guest bathroom that originally we thought was related to the master bath issues but turned out to be something different, they sent their plumber back out to look at it and he was able to fix the issue in about 2 hours for a very reasonable cost. Every worker who came to my house was friendly and considerate of our space. I have a 13 month old son, so keeping him out of their way was a challenge but whenever possible they would work around baby gates or having to keep doors closed.
The only negative was that the project was estimated 2 weeks and ended up taking closer to a month. There were a few instances of workers being late and one no-show, but 90% of the time everyone was punctual, and I understand that things happen. Part of the longer completion time was probably due to my own schedule as well.
Overall we're happy with the work: the shower looks beautiful, everything is neat and clean, and most importantly, no more leaking! It's a tremendous load off our minds having this issue behind us and we're thankful we found OnCall to help.

FAQs for plumbing projects in Lockhart, TX

Schedule a plumbing inspection every one to two years to ensure your system is in good working order. Regular inspections can help you catch minor issues before they become costly problems, like major water damage repairs. You should also consider a plumbing inspection when buying or selling a home or if you notice signs of a plumbing issue. Staying proactive with maintenance can save you money and stress in the long run.

A plumbing inspection for a standard one-story to two-story home takes between two and three hours. For larger residences, historic homes, or rental complexes, a complete inspection requires a full-day commitment of eight hours. However, this does not account for any necessary repairs that your plumber might find, so it’s best to set aside additional time during the inspection in case an unexpected repair comes up.

When built with quality materials, your plumbing system endures for decades. CPVC, brass, iron, and steel provide reliable service for 50 to 70 years, while copper extends durability up to 100 years, and PEX maintains performance for 80 to 100 years. Maintaining this system with regular inspections and prompt repairs guarantees long-term efficiency.

You should repipe your home when your plumbing exceeds its expected lifespan or uses hazardous materials like lead, polybutylene, or galvanized steel. Persistent leaks, corrosion, and compromised water quality signal that your existing piping no longer meets safety standards. Repiping eliminates potential health risks and prevents extensive water damage.
