"Step 1 for my project was replacing the original soffits, trim and gutters. My house is much better now that those things have been replaced. Step 2 will be having them replace my original siding. I like their products and ability to communicate through the multi step process."

"American Home Contractors replaced my home's roof and gutters. I had an excellent experience from start to finish. John, the Project Coordinator, was professional, attentive to my needs throughout the project, flexible with the scheduling, and willing to work with me on the price. The project was completed in a timely manner and the workmanship was great. I would highly recommend American Home Contractors!"

"My wife and I purchased our house about 18 months ago. Back in March of this past year, we discovered that the previous owner had concealed some rot in the exterior walls of the house that had come from a leak somewhere along the roof line. We were initially referred to Ben and his company by a friend of ours who he had done some previous work for. Ben came out, inspected the roof and determined told us he believed that the leak had been coming in around the chimney, but had been corrected by the previous owner.  We asked him at the time if he could handle repairing the wall, and he said that while they might be able to find a way to fix it, they were not comfortable taking the job because, not being framers, they did not want to take on the job and have to tell us later they could not complete it.  This actually very much impressed my wife and I, since most people we found to look at that project were more than happy to take the money even if they were not really qualified for the work.
Several months later, we started having water leaking into our house again, this time on the other side of the home. Given that we very much appreciated their honesty the first time, we called Ben and his company.  They came right out, rearranging their schedule to help us with the pool that was slowly forming in our bathroom. With the weather being extremely rainy, as well as other factors, Ben made several trips out to our home to ensure that they could accurately diagnose the problem. They discovered that while the primary problem was coming from a window we had recently had replaced, the company that had replaced the roof for the previous owner had cut some corners which was leading to all of the edges of the roof starting to rot. He took the time to actually take me and show me the problem and explain what caused it.  He gave us a few options, and in the end we decided to replace the roof to ensure we could fix the rot. Ben and his team came out on 17 July and were able to do all of the work needed in a day, including the pitched roof replacement, replacement of some of the gutters, repairs to a flat roof we have over an addition, and the installation of gutter toppers.  Additionally, our window company was supposed to come out on the same day to fix the window. When they did not show on time, Ben offered to fix the windows for us free of charge, if they didn't come by the end of the day just to make sure it was done right.
When the crew left, the property was spotless! And throughout the whole process, we had nothing but amazing service from Ben and the team. They go out of their way to explain everything to you and show you how and why they are doing what they are doing. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

"I met David Garner of Garner Roofing in Harford County, Maryland. David was prompt with the appointment and listened to what I wanted as far as the work. Mr. Garner communicated with me during my contractor selection and his contract offered the best price for the best products. David shared with me the new technologies of roofing and explained the beneficial changes of that work and how it would enhance the property appeal and result in longer warranties. Garner Roofing was fast with the installation, did an efficient clean-up and he returned after the job to ensure my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend Garner Roofing and if you need a new roof or are considering replacement then I endorse David Garner to assist you in your decision. The new roof at my home has the PRO Architectural Black shingles that are thicker and heavier than standard shingles. It has a 130 mph Wind Rating, 15 yrs. Algae Warranty and a Lifetime Shingle Warranty with a 10-year transferable replacement with no pro-rating. My new roof is incredibly beautiful and the new look provides a striking difference to the old, white, stained roof that was replaced. Thank you David for an Outstanding job! My compliments to your crew for a fast, professional installation with absolutely no damage to my landscaping or other issues."

"Did roof inspection and made some necessary repairs. Mr. Mcgavin was very professional and informative. I will use his services again."

"I hired this company based on reviews from Angie's list.  My experience was a bit different than the A + rating they had.  The answered my call for a quote and arrived on time.  The communicated in Spanish about everything.  We all walked the house together and I pointed out everything that needed painting.  We had a discussion about the master bath, the last words I heard George senior tell me was "we can fix this".  They quoted me a price of $3400.00 and said if I got everything done at once, he would take $200.00 off.  I didn't get other quotes because I just moved in and time was a factor, so I can't really comment on price.  During the week, they dropped of a large paint sample thing to make may choices from.  They arrived early to start the two-day job, a Friday and a Saturday.  They finished the job on Saturday, as promised.  My master bath was not painted, the wood on the steps was not painted, they removed all the drapery hardware and it was tossed out apparently, they took a blind down in the master bedroom and I had to remind many times for them to fix it, they did with crazy glue.  The walls and ceiling are beautiful but the trim is horrible.  I am still painting over spots that were missed or the paint was wiped off when they cleaned the floors.  There was a quarter sized drop of paint on my maple dining room table.  There was a large spot of white trim paint on the colored wall in the hall, but worst of all I continue to clean small spots and areas where there is white paint on the oak floors. They did do me one favor and lift a TV back up above the fireplace that had been taken down for painting. They did leave all the extra paint in the basement, one bucket not closed and has a paint roller floating in it.  The worst thing was them teasing my dogs and getting them agitated and pushing each other towards them and laughing.  Overall, I don't think I had an "A" experience.  Unfortunately I would not recommend them or use them again.

"I hired Romeo's Home Solutions to demolish an old wood shed and erect a metal shed. They arrived on time and began to work immediately. It turned out I ordered the wrong size shed. Romeo's crew went above and beyond to dig a larger foundation for the new shed. I highly recommend their services."
