"The technicians redid the bricks so that you couldn't even tell they were repaired. It looked beautiful. They put in a new liner in the chimney and waterproofed it. They redid the inside of the fireplace to bring it up to code and put in a chain that easily opens and closes the flue. It looks so good and easy that I may decide to use the fireplace again. They redid the pipes in the basement so the fumes from the boiler and hot water heater went up the chimney in the correct way. There had been water damage and they corrected the damage and closed off the hole in the wall (foundation) and made a bigger hole in the correct place so that everything was up to code. They were polite, efficient and worked very hard to get the work done in the promised two days. I have interviewed many companies and found this company to be straight-forward in telling me what they would do and didn't try to tell me they were giving me a "good deal." Rather I feel they gave me an honest estimate on what needed to be done and didn't try to pressure me into using their company. They did give me 10% off because I was an Angie's List customer. What company to use was a hard decision for me because I knew nothing about chimney repair. Because so much of the repair was inside the chimney I couldn't tell what they had done. Based on my experience I feel they did a good job. I don't have a picture of the repaired chimney but it looks great--better than it did before the bricks fell. If someone wants more detail I can copy exactly what they did from the invoice. Also, maybe the company can show a picture of the finished product. Since it is summer time I haven't had any experience using the chimney but will let you know how things work out during the winter."

I can't say enough about working with MakHome Renovations... they have been amazing to work with and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anybody looking to do remodeling work on their home. I would give them 6 stars if I could. The scope of the work for me is that I'm getting 2 bathroom remodels done. Both bathrooms were taken down all the way to the studs. I'm going to post photos when I get a chance to. Right from the start, I found Art tremendously responsive and great at working with over the phone, text, and e-mails. Meeting with Art and his father, they were always on time and easy to communicate. Without exception, there was no contractor more responsive than Art that I've contacted. Art and his father could not be easier to work with. Throughout the process, they were very willing to work with me on adjustments to the remodeling plans. Believe me, once you rip out the sheetrock and look behind the walls, you'll have to make adjustments. They do not complain and work hard to make sure you are satisfied. Also all of their individual workers were responsible, trustworthy, and easy to deal with. Art works very hard to accommodate your schedule. If you need him to buy things, he'll take care of it. If you can only meet him in the mornings or the evenings, he'll work around your schedule. Lastly, the quality of work was great. they have a very great eye for making sure all the tile is laid down correctly, were meticulous about the installation of hardware, vanities, mirrors, lights, etc... If you're looking for somebody to work with, definitely give MakHome a call, you won't be disappointed."

"I have been using these guys for years. They have redesigned and remodeled my kitchen and other projects throughout my home. Their ideas for my home are always very creative and work well. They most recently redesigned and remodeled my bathroom and it turned out amazing. As always the project went smoothly from the start. I met with them at my home and they took measurements and we discussed ideas. I then went to their showroom to review the designs, yes designs they gave me more than one option. This was very helpful as it's hard for me to envision things on my own. I decided to go with the second option which involved removing a wall and expanding the bathroom. I worked with them to pick out my tile, cabinets and granite right there after seeing the designs. It was very convenient. The job started about three weeks later, right when they promised and wrapped up earlier than expected. It turned out fantastic and I couldn't be happier. I strongly recommend these guys to anyone looking to have their kitchen, bath or anything else remodeled."
