During the job interview/review, Charles described how he would treat certain areas, answering our questions patiently and completely. Charles is a hands-on businessman. He personally managed and worked side by side with his crew. He is very concerned with customer satisfaction. He voluntarily performed additional mud work when he noticed some imperfections that he felt should be addressed in addition to the work agreed upon. When we raised a question about the color of the paint looking different than the sample, he postponed applying it until later that day, when we were satisfied that it was the correct hue. When a large, bulky cabinet needed to be taken off the wall, his team willingly assisted. Charles made certain that the work was done perfectly. When there was an item here or there that needed attention, his attitude was unfailingly positive and he attended to it immediately. "We just used Bear Mountain Custom Painting to completely repaint the exterior of our house, including restaining our back deck and fixing wood rot issues on our cedar shingle siding. The work quality was exceptional from the entire team, starting with the sales coordinator (Zach). We had received several estimates from other companies and Bear Mountain was right in the middle, but we chose Bear Mountain because of their superlative reviews and the expertise that was immediately conveyed by Zach (who did a much more thorough survey of the house for wood rot issues, and also knew correctly that cedar siding needed to be stained rather than painted). Whereas other companies proposed just filling in wood rot with Bondo, the philosophy at Bear Mountain is that to make a durable repair, the rotten wood should be removed completely and replaced with rot-proof materials (PVC or pressure-treated wood). Having had previous bondo repairs of wood performed by the preceding homeowners fail, we were really impressed with the excellent carpentry work performed by Bear Mountain Custom Paiting. The work crew, led by Higi, was fantastic. Higi was a wonderful communicator, and any issues (like windows painted shut) were immediately rectified. Due to cold weather and rain, the crew couldn't work for several days, and this was always communicated to us in a timely fashion--they then would often bring a larger work crew the next day so as to finish the project on time. We were thrilled with the quality of the final work, as the house looks fantastic and we are confident that it will remain in excellent condition for years! They took care to clean up the site thoroughly at the end of the job, and took extra precautions to make sure that our exterior cameras were fully protected. "My exterior home painting went swiftly but very efficiently. Hugo and his teammate George arrived on Monday morning promptly and ready to get to work. They began my project pressure washing the home exterior, the driveway and my small patio slab. Tow rotted boards, one at front near the roof and another at back near the rain gutter were removed and replaced with PVC boards and caulked (various other areas of the hardy plank siding were also re-caulked). All windows, security cameras and light fixtures were covered and taped for protection from spraying of the paint. The painting commenced on Tuesday, the next day and went quickly but was very efficient. The guys listened carefully to my description of results I wanted to achieve responded respectfully to each of my inquiries/requests. They were careful to avoid damage to my flower garden and flower planters. My project went rather quickly and was completed sooner that I expected, however, the final results are amazingly beautiful. I believe our clear communications throughout the whole process is what enabled the work to progress smoothly. The guys returned two days later to install my purchased, decorative Gable Victorian Pediment (once it arrived) which completed the finishing touch of the project. My daughter and I are very pleased with the outcome, so are several of our neighbors. Hugo and George deserve my highest recommendation and positive review for a job well done. My Craftsman style cottage home is now a shining star of the entire Cul de Sac."
