"This was my first experience hiring a contractor and Mr. Sturgess's was great to work with. He was able to meet with me outside of my work hours to go over my plans. His crew was on time, friendly, and answered any questions I had. Mr. Sturgess rates were very reasonable, and he and his team are very honest and easy to work. Since they have finished converting my carport to the screened sun room, I asked if they could go ahead and finish some other projects for me. I can't wait until all of my projects are done."

"All Pro replaced our front and side gutters including installing the debris shields.   They also replaced 2 front porch supports and painted them to match the gutters.  After a later installation of flashing, the gutters now provide the needed drainage routing.  They did a good job and worked to get what we needed within our budget.  I would use them again and recommend them. <br />"

"The job went very well. BHR's team worked every day and showed up when they stated they would be there. We never had any problems with the workers. They were always polite and worked tirelessly. I would highly recommended BHR for any remodeling job large or small. I have used them in my personal home many times and will use BHR again. BHR's prices are very reasonable. I couldn't ask for a better company to do my remodeling."

"<p>After reviewing the experiences of others with Tallent Desk & Porches on Angie's List, I decided to contact them to re-do the enclosure on my house. On the first visit Mr. Tallent came with his daughter Jessica, they were on time and after a short introduction, we went to the enclosure area. Initially, I wanted a new enclosure built and he clearly explained the process and provided some options. In a short time, I received an estimate and discussed when he could to start the job. I explained him that I was going on extended vacations and I would contact him upon my return.</p> <p>A few months after that, my wife, and I decided to sell the house and instead wanted to repair the enclosure without modifications. I contacted Jessica and arranged for another visit with Mr. Talent, to discuss the repairs needed. He explained that his crew would clean and treat the wood, re-paint, and install a new screen. After receiving a new estimate, we agreed scheduled the start day for a few weeks later.</p> <p>On their first visit, his crew clear, sprayed watch and detailed the wood structure. After waiting the needed days for the wood to dry, another crew came and painted the structure. The third crew came and installed the screen; they completed in a reasonable time.  </p> <p>After a few weeks later, I noticed a few details were not completely to our satisfaction. I did contact Jessica and schedule a visit with Mr. Tallent. They came and after showing the details, he stated that his crew would come and take care of it and within a week, they corrected the details to my satisfaction.</p> <br />"

"I was impressed with Robert's ingenuity and approach to the job. The room turned out better than I expected. <br /> He came in with better ideas than other contractor s. He took the window and door from the existing exterior wall, shifted them to the new room exterior wall and made shelving for pictures on the inside of the old window opening. <br /> He also had the hvac contractor tie into the existing ductwork which resulted in a better and cheaper solution than other options. <br /> He handled this job like it was his own personal residence. I would use Robert's services again and recommend him for your home additions/improvements. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Aiken, SC

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
