He indicated that we could purchase those parts through the company, or if I had the parts onhand, he could just install them (saving money). Fortunately, The Home Depot nearby was open, and I was able to get the two pieces fairly quickly. Miguel then: * installed the garbage disposal (and took care of getting rid of the old one), * connected the replacement shut-off valve, * replaced the faucet itself, and made sure that none of it leaked.
